Natural Mulberry Silk

Natural mulberry silk is stretched over a concealed metal frame to maintain Marlow's wide disc profile. In daylight the shade reads soft white; when illuminated, the silk takes on a warmer cream tone and diffuses the light across the broad underside.

Dust gently with a soft dry brush or a low-suction vacuum brush attachment. Avoid water, damp cloths, cleaning sprays, heavy cooking vapor and high-humidity environments.
Small differences in weave density, texture, tone and translucency may appear from one hand-formed shade to another. These subtle variations are natural characteristics of the silk material rather than defects.

Before You Choose.
Which size should I choose for a dining table?
Small works best for intimate tables and breakfast nooks. Medium is the most versatile option for standard 4–6 seat dining tables. Large is intentionally oversized and better suited to 8–12 seat tables, larger islands or rooms that need architectural scale.
Is the Large 35.4" version too big for a normal room?
It can be. The Large is deliberately wide and should be chosen when the table, island or room genuinely needs that scale. Medium is the more versatile residential option when you are uncertain.
Are the bulbs included?
Yes. Marlow includes a warm-white 2700K E26 LED bulb. The included bulb is non-dimmable.
Can Marlow be dimmed?
Yes, with a compatible setup. Replace the included bulb with a compatible dimmable E26 LED and use a compatible Triac wall dimmer.
Can I request a longer hanging cable?
Yes. Custom cable lengths are available at no extra charge. Send your ceiling height and desired final drop to support@stuberlighting.com before ordering.
How should I clean the silk shade?
Use a soft dry brush or a low-suction vacuum attachment. Do not use water, damp cloths or cleaning sprays on the silk. Avoid heavy humidity and cooking-oil vapor.
