Washi Paper · Textured Lantern Table Lamp
Two Paper Textures in One Sculptural Form.
Zara pairs a hand-crinkled upper section with a softly ribbed Washi body. The difference is subtle when unlit and more visible once illuminated, giving this compact lantern extra depth without adding visual bulk.
Balanced Scale 14.9 × 14.9 Equal width and height

Material Mulberry Washi

Crinkled Above. Ribbed Below.
Upper Section Hand-Crinkled Texture
Irregular folds catch light differently, giving the neck a softer handmade character.
Lower Body Traditional Ribbed Washi
The smoother lower lantern provides more even diffusion and balances the textured upper section.
Product Detail
Look Closely at the Neck.
Zara's upper paper section is intentionally wrinkled rather than smooth. Small differences in the folds are part of the handmade appearance, not a manufacturing defect.

Ø14.9" × H14.9"

Good to Know
Is the wrinkled neck intentional?
Yes. The crinkled upper section is one of Zara's defining design details. It is intentionally more irregular than the ribbed lower body, and handmade examples will show small variations in the folds.
What kind of light does Zara provide?
Zara is designed primarily for soft ambient light. The included 3000K bulb is diffused through the Washi shade, creating a warm glow rather than concentrated task lighting.
How should I clean the textured Washi?
Use a soft dry feather duster or microfiber tool. Dust gently around the crinkled upper section rather than pressing or scrubbing the folds. Do not wet-clean, steam or spray cleaners onto the paper.
Shipping & Returns
Free Standard Shipping (4–6 weeks) — all US & Canada orders. Expedited (2–4 weeks) available; see Shipping Policy .
If you are not satisfied, you may request a return and refund within 30 days, provided the items remain brand new and unused.
Once shipped, original shipping fees are non-refundable. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless there is a quality issue.
To start a return, email support@stuberlighting.com . For details, see our Returns Policy .
Each piece is handmade, so slight variations in texture and dimensions are normal, and washi paper ambers gently over time. Screen colors are approximate; hand-measured sizes may vary 1–2cm.
