Multiple arms. One ceiling. A constellation of light.

The Cassio is a multi-arm Mid-Century ceiling chandelier — three or six independently positioned arms radiating from a single ceiling canopy, each tipped with a conical reflector that pivots to direct light. The arms extend outward from the center at sculptural angles; each reflector independently aims at a chair, a corner, a wall, or whatever the room needs lit. The geometry is unmistakable Mid-Century-modernist — graphic, asymmetric, architectural — but the function is fully contemporary. One ceiling fixture covers what would otherwise require multiple floor lamps and sconces.

Choose 3-Light at 59.1 inches across for medium dining rooms and bedrooms, or 6-Light at 86.6 inches for grand-scale living rooms, double-height spaces, and statement entryways. Matte black or matte white finish — both versions read graphic and sculptural; black for darker rooms and modernist palettes, white for lighter rooms and Scandinavian interiors.

01

Three or six independently angled arms

Arms radiate from the central ceiling canopy at sculptural angles — not arranged in a uniform circle, but asymmetric, like the lines of a constellation. Each arm's length and angle are calibrated for visual balance.

02

Pivoting conical reflectors

The reflector head at each arm tip pivots independently — point one over a dining chair, another at a corner, another up toward the ceiling for ambient bounce. Six independent light pools from a single fixture.

03

Two finishes — graphic in either palette

Matte black for dark, moody, modernist rooms and traditional white-on-black contrast. Matte white for lighter Scandinavian interiors, white-on-white minimalism, or rooms that want the form to read quieter.

04

Two scales — medium or grand

3-Light at 59.1 inches for dining rooms, bedrooms, medium open-plan spaces. 6-Light at 86.6 inches for grand living rooms, double-height entryways, large dining tables. Same design language, two room scales.

A ceiling fixture that does the work of five

In a typical living room, lighting designers will specify a ceiling-mounted fixture for ambient light, plus two or three table lamps for task light, plus a floor lamp for the reading chair, plus possibly a sconce or two for wall accent. Five fixtures. Five cords. Five decisions about scale, material, and finish. The Cassio compresses all of that into one ceiling installation. Each arm points where it needs to; each reflector lights a specific zone of the room. The result is fewer fixtures, less furniture clutter, more visual focus on the ceiling plane — and a more architectural-feeling room because the lighting itself is the architecture.

Part of the Stellar Collection

The Cassio completes our Stellar Collection — four matched fixtures sharing the same matte-finish material language and articulated-arm geometry, scaled to four positions in the home:

Vega — floor lamp. Single tripod base, single arm; anchors a corner or stands behind a reading chair.

Atria — wall lamp. Single long arm extending from the wall; above a bed, behind a sofa, in a hallway.

Lyra — table lamp. Single arm on a weighted base; sits on a side table, desk corner, or wide nightstand.

Cassio (this fixture) — multi-arm ceiling chandelier. Three or six arms radiating from the ceiling; the room's central architectural light element.

Where the Cassio hangs best

Dining room above a rectangular table — 3-Light or 6-Light — arms span the table length; each reflector lights a different seating position; replaces the traditional chandelier with something more graphic.

Grand living room or open-plan family room — 6-Light — the 86.6-inch span anchors a large open space; arms direct light toward different seating zones throughout the room.

Master bedroom over the foot of the bed — 3-Light — three arms radiate across the ceiling; warm light from above replaces nightstand-only lighting.

Entry hallway or double-height foyer — 6-Light — long horizontal span fills the visual width of grand entries; arms direct light at architectural details and arriving guests.

Restaurant, hotel lobby, gallery, or commercial space — the multi-arm fixture scales from residential to commercial without changing in identity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit on a standard 8-foot ceiling? +

Yes — the fixture is only 12.6 inches tall (H 32cm), so it stays well within standard 8-foot ceiling clearance. From a 96-inch ceiling, the bottom of the reflectors sits roughly 83 inches off the floor, leaving comfortable headroom even under the lowest reflector. For taller rooms (9 to 12 feet), the fixture can be hung with longer extension stems if needed, though most installations work directly from the ceiling canopy without extension.

Can I aim each light separately? +

Yes. Each reflector head pivots independently at the end of its arm. Point one over the dining table, another at a corner display, another up at the ceiling for ambient bounce — any combination. This is the core difference between the Cassio and a traditional chandelier: traditional chandeliers light the entire room uniformly from a single fixture, while the Cassio lights specific zones from one fixture, more like a series of focused spotlights radiating from a single ceiling point.

Should I choose 3-Light or 6-Light? +

Choose 3-Light (59.1" span) for dining tables under 7 feet long, bedrooms, medium-sized rooms, and any installation where the 6-light version would feel too dominant. Choose 6-Light (86.6" span) for dining tables 7 feet or longer, grand living rooms, double-height entries, and statement installations where the fixture is meant to be the room's central design element. A general guideline: 3-Light handles rooms up to 200 square feet; 6-Light is for rooms 200+ square feet or open-plan spaces.

For the warmest Mid-Century glow, use 2700K-3000K Edison filament or LED bulbs. Clear-glass bulbs work especially well — the visible filaments read instantly modernist behind the open reflectors.

Hardwired installation requires a licensed electrician. The ceiling canopy must be secured to a junction box rated for the fixture weight.

Safety tested for indoor use in dry locations. Meets technical requirements for North American residential lighting installations.
