Whimsy pairs a large Washi sphere with a lower-profile oval shade, both suspended from one ceiling canopy. Adjust each cord independently to create a balanced pair, a staggered cascade or a wider asymmetric arrangement.

The Mismatch Is the Design.
One full sphere and one flatter oval create more visual movement than two identical lanterns. Their independent cords let you decide how symmetrical or relaxed the final installation feels.

Good to Know
Do the two shades have to hang at the same height?
No. Each 59" suspension cord can be adjusted independently. Keep the pair relatively level for a balanced look or stagger them to emphasize the contrast between the sphere and oval shades.
How far apart should I position the two shades?
There is no single required spacing. Above a table or island, keep enough separation for the two forms to read individually without feeling disconnected. Larger vaulted spaces can support a much wider spread.
Can I use longer suspension cords?
Yes. Each standard cord is 59" / 150cm. Longer suspension lengths can be prepared on request for high ceilings, stairwells and other taller installations.

If you are not satisfied, you may request a return and refund within 30 days, provided the items remain brand new and unused.
Once shipped, original shipping fees are non-refundable. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless there is a quality issue.

Each piece is handmade, so slight variations in texture and dimensions are normal, and washi paper ambers gently over time. Screen colors are approximate; hand-measured sizes may vary 1–2cm.

Installation requirements vary by product. Contact us if you need assembly or installation guidance for your particular fixture. For hardwired lighting, we recommend installation by a qualified professional in accordance with local electrical codes.
05What happens if I need to return an item?+
Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they remain brand-new and unused. For change-of-mind returns, the buyer pays return shipping; original shipping charges are non-refundable once an order ships. Contact support before sending anything back.
06What if something arrives damaged or develops an issue?+
Send our team photos and your order number if your item arrives damaged, and we will review the next steps. Eligible fixture issues are covered by a 2-year warranty, excluding bulbs. We are here to help after delivery.
