Brass hardware: soft dry microfibre for regular dust; for oxidation removal, use a dedicated brass polish (Brasso, Wright's Silver Cream, or Simichrome) applied sparingly with a soft cloth, buff to shine, remove residue with clean microfibre. Note that natural patina develops over years — this reads as considered aged brass character; some collectors prefer this to constant polishing. Clear glass shade: standard glass cleaner (Windex-type) sprayed on a microfibre cloth (not directly on the shade) then wiped clean.
