Solari Cream Glass Chandelier

The Color of Warm Light, Made Solid At Stuberlighting, we believe a chandelier should have a reason to exist beyond providing illumination. The Solari was designed around the idea of making warm light visible as an object — taking the amber-cream tone of a room lit by warm bulbs and rendering it in glass that holds that color independent of any light source. The persimmon-form shades are a gradient from cream white to creamy yellow: warm, organic, and impossible to categorize as simply "gold" or "cream." Mounted on curved gold arms from a gold canopy, the cluster of shades reads differently from every seat in the room — changing character as the light changes, as the viewer moves, as the evening progresses. Available in 3-Light for intimate spaces, 5-Light for standard dining rooms and living rooms, and 7-Light for statement installations. Damp-rated for bathrooms, kitchens, and covered outdoor spaces.

Size Selection Guide:

Choose a chandelier diameter roughly equal to the sum of your room's length and width in feet, converted to inches — a 10 × 12 room (22 ft total) suggests a 22-inch chandelier. For dining tables, choose a diameter 12 inches narrower than the table width: a 48" table → 3-Light (26.8"), a 60–72" table → 5-Light (27.6"), an 84"+ table or open-plan space → 7-Light (35.4").

Hanging Height Guide:

For dining tables, hang so the bottom of the lowest shade sits approximately 28–34 inches above the tabletop. For bathrooms, position the bottom of the fixture at least 7 feet above the floor for safety and code compliance in most US jurisdictions. For living rooms, allow at least 6.5–7 feet clearance from floor to lowest point.

Bathroom Installation Note:

The Solari is damp-rated (IP20), making it suitable for bathroom use outside of shower and bath wet zones. For installation above vanities, in open bathroom areas, and in kitchens, no special consideration is required beyond standard electrical safety. For locations directly above bathtubs or in shower enclosures, a wet-rated (IP44+) fixture is required — contact service@stuberlighting.com if you need guidance.

The Solari's cream-to-yellow glass gradient and gold hardware make it most effective in spaces with warm color palettes — rooms with natural wood, cream or off-white walls, warm neutrals, and the kind of collected, layered aesthetic that benefits from warm amber light at ceiling height. Its damp rating expands its usable spaces significantly beyond what most statement chandeliers can offer.

🍽️ Dining Room — The Warm Center of the Room: The 5-Light Solari above a dining table turns dinner into an event. The cream-to-yellow gradient shades cast overlapping warm glows across the table surface — flattering light over food, flattering light over faces, and a ceiling composition that people comment on before they sit down. Use Edison filament E26 bulbs at 2200K for maximum amber warmth. Use 3000K warm white LED for the flexibility to dim from casual to intimate.
