— SIENNA / MURANO-STYLE CHANDELIER —
An Italian glass garden,
suspended above the table.
A tribute to the iconic Mid-Century Italian Murano cluster chandeliers of the 1960s and 70s — bronze frame, multi-bulb cluster geometry, hand-tinted glass shades in three Mid-Century revival colors.

The Italian Murano-style cluster chandelier is one of the most-photographed silhouettes of Mid-Century European design — bronze frame radiating outward in deliberate geometry, each arm terminating in a hand-tinted glass shade, the whole composition reading like a glass garden suspended from the ceiling. The originals were made on the Venetian island of Murano starting in the 1950s; by the 1970s they were everywhere from European villa dining rooms to American mid-century split-level homes.
The Sienna is built in that tradition. Bronze-finished metal frame in the classic radiating cluster geometry. Hand-tinted glass shades in three Mid-Century revival colors: warm Orange (the canonical 1970s amber tone), Cream White (the transitional neutral that suits any interior), and Sage Green (the muted botanical green defining current Cottagecore-meets-Italian-villa palettes). Multi-bulb E14 socket configuration delivers the soft layered glow that single-bulb fixtures can't match.
Bulbs included. Built to UL safety standards. Three sizes (23.6", 31.5", 37.4") sized for residential dining rooms through grand foyers. Chain length 19 inches by default; custom lengths available for high ceilings and vaulted spaces by request.

Pick your Mid-Century era
ORANGE · Y2K REVIVAL
The signature 1970s Murano amber-orange — the color that defines Italian Mid-Century interior photography. Currently the strongest Y2K revival color in American design (2023-2026). Pairs with cream walls, walnut furniture, and any Cottagecore-meets-Italian palette where the chandelier should anchor a warm color story.
WHITE · TRANSITIONAL CREAM
Soft cream-white glass with subtle warm undertones — the safest, most versatile color choice. Works in transitional homes, traditional dining rooms, and any interior where the chandelier should be a deliberate geometric statement without asserting a specific color story. Reads softer than pure white when illuminated.
SAGE GREEN · COTTAGECORE BOTANICAL
Muted Sage green — the same restrained botanical color defining current American Cottagecore and modern Italian villa palettes. Pairs with white cabinetry, fresh herbs, walnut floors, and the kind of dining rooms that want a touch of garden brought indoors.

What makes the Sienna
01
Hand-tinted glass shades · colored not painted
Each shade is hand-tinted glass — the color is embedded in the glass itself, not painted on. This is the same handcraft principle as traditional Murano glassmaking: pigment fused into the molten glass during forming. The result holds its color over decades without fading, peeling, or yellowing, and reads more saturated and luminous when illuminated than any painted finish could replicate.
02
Bronze radiating cluster geometry
The frame radiates outward in the classic Murano cluster pattern — multiple arms extending from a central core, each terminating in a glass shade. The bronze finish reads warmer than chrome or brass, with a soft satin sheen that pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes. The geometry creates the layered glow that defines authentic Italian cluster chandeliers.
03
E14 multi-bulb · dimmable compatible
Multiple E14 sockets (the European candelabra base, also standard in American chandelier applications) — bulbs included with the fixture. For dimming, swap the standard bulbs for dimmable E14 LEDs and pair with a compatible triac wall dimmer. Each socket rated 40W maximum. Replaceable bulbs mean the fixture never reaches end-of-life from a failed light source.
04
Adjustable chain · custom length on request
19-inch chain length by default — appropriate for 8-9 foot residential ceilings. Adjustable during installation by removing or adding links. For higher ceilings (vaulted, two-story foyers, loft spaces), custom chain lengths are available on request — email service@stuberlighting.com with your ceiling height before ordering.
05
Three sizes for different room scales
23.6" for smaller dining rooms, breakfast nooks, and primary bedrooms where the chandelier should be present but proportional. 31.5" for standard American dining rooms seating 6-8, and most-popular living room placements. 37.4" for grand foyers, large dining rooms, vaulted living rooms, and any space where the cluster should anchor as the unmistakable architectural focal point.
— On the Murano tradition —
"For seven hundred years, the island of Murano has been turning sand and fire into light."
The Venetian island of Murano has been making decorative glass since 1291 — when the Republic of Venice moved all the glassblowing furnaces off the main islands to reduce fire risk. By the 20th century, Murano had become the world's most prestigious glassmaking tradition, producing the chandeliers that defined Italian Mid-Century interiors and were exported worldwide as the signature of European design.
The Sienna is offered as a tribute to that tradition — not as authentic Murano glass (which is a protected geographic designation requiring production on the island itself) but as a respectful Mid-Century cluster chandelier that honors the silhouette, the proportions, and the warm hand-tinted color palette that defined the original Italian style. If you want certified Murano glass with its full provenance, we recommend purchasing from authorized Italian dealers. If you want the Mid-Century Italian aesthetic at a price that fits a residential lighting budget, the Sienna is built in that spirit.
— Where it lives —
Recommended spaces
Dining room · Orange · 31.5" or 37.4"
The signature application. A single Orange Sienna centered over a 6-8 person dining table — the warm amber glass creates the kind of intimate dinner lighting that defines Italian villa atmosphere. The cluster geometry casts soft layered shadows on the table surface; the Mid-Century silhouette anchors the entire room as deliberately designed rather than incidentally furnished.
Foyer · Orange or White · 37.4"
The first chandelier guests see when they enter the home. The 37.4" large Sienna in Orange announces a clear Mid-Century aesthetic the moment the door opens; the White version reads more transitional and elegant. Pair with a console table and large mirror for the canonical American foyer setup.
Primary bedroom · White · 23.6" or 31.5"
The White cream Sienna over a primary bedroom creates the soft amber-tinted ambient light that turns a standard bedroom into a hotel-suite atmosphere. Smaller 23.6" works for standard bedrooms; 31.5" for primary suites with vaulted ceilings or generous square footage.
Living room · Orange or Sage · 31.5"
A 31.5" Sienna centered over a coffee table or seating area in a Mid-Century-leaning living room. Orange reads more Y2K Maximalist; Sage Green reads more Cottagecore botanical. Either pairs beautifully with leather chairs, walnut floors, and the kind of intentional design vocabulary the Murano tradition was built to support.
Tea room or café · Sage Green · 23.6"
The 23.6" Sage Sienna over a tea room or café table reads botanical and Cottagecore-meets-Italian — particularly striking against white walls and natural wood. Multi-bulb cluster creates intimate layered light at table-eye-level without the Edison-bulb fussiness that has become visually overused.

Questions
Is this authentic Murano glass? +
No — the Sienna is a Mid-Century Italian-style design tribute, not certified Murano glass.
"Murano glass" is a protected geographic designation (similar to Champagne or Parmesan) — authentic Murano glass must be produced on the Venetian island of Murano by certified workshops, and carries traceable certificates of authenticity. Genuine Murano cluster chandeliers typically retail in the $3,000-15,000+ range from authorized dealers.
The Sienna is built in the Mid-Century Italian style that Murano chandeliers helped define — hand-tinted glass, bronze cluster frame, the proportions and color palette that characterize the tradition. It's a respectful tribute manufactured outside Italy, offered at a price that fits a residential lighting budget. If you want certified Murano glass with full provenance, we recommend purchasing from authorized Italian dealers.
Which color should I choose — Orange, White, or Sage Green? +
Orange — choose if your home leans Y2K revival, Italian Mid-Century, or Maximalist. The strongest color statement and the most photographed version of the classic Murano amber. Pairs with cream walls, walnut wood, leather furniture, brass accents.
White — choose for transitional or traditional dining rooms, neutral interiors, or homes where the chandelier should be a deliberate geometric statement without a specific color story. The safest all-around choice; resale-friendly.
Sage Green — choose for Cottagecore-meets-Italian-villa interiors, botanical-leaning palettes, or homes with white cabinetry and walnut floors where Sage reads as a deliberate complementary accent.
Most ordered: Orange. It's the canonical Mid-Century color and the strongest match to the original Murano aesthetic.
Which size fits my dining room? +
General rule for dining room chandelier sizing — add the room's length + width in feet, then choose a chandelier diameter in inches close to that sum:
· Room 10' × 12' (sum 22) → 23.6" fits well
· Room 12' × 14' (sum 26-30) → 31.5" fits proportionally
· Room 14' × 16'+ (sum 30+) → 37.4" anchors the space
By table size:
· 4-6 person table (under 6') → 23.6"
· 6-8 person table (6-8') → 31.5" (the default for most American dining rooms)
· 8-10+ person table (8'+) → 37.4"
Hang the bottom of the chandelier 30-36 inches above the table surface for diner-eye-level clearance.
Will this work with my high ceilings or vaulted space? +
Yes — with a custom chain length.
The Sienna ships with a 19-inch total chain length by default — perfect for 8-9 foot residential ceilings. For higher ceilings:
· 10-11 ft ceilings — request 28" chain
· 11-12 ft vaulted — request 36" chain
· 12-14 ft loft/cathedral — request 48"+ chain
Email service@stuberlighting.com before ordering with your ceiling height. We coordinate the chain length so the chandelier hangs at the correct proportional height for your space. No additional charge for chain extensions up to 60 inches.
Are bulbs included? Can I dim it? +
Yes — E14 LED warm-white bulbs are included (standard 2700K non-dimmable) for all sockets.
For dimming: replace the included bulbs with dimmable E14 LED bulbs (widely available at Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon for $8-15 each) and pair with a compatible triac wall dimmer. Most modern triac dimmers work with dimmable LEDs without specialty controls.
Multi-bulb chandeliers benefit significantly from dimming — adjusting from full brightness to a soft intimate glow transforms the room atmosphere completely.
Will the colored glass fade over time? +
No — hand-tinted glass holds its color essentially indefinitely. Unlike painted finishes (which can yellow, peel, or chip over years) or dyed plastic (which photo-degrades from UV exposure), the color is embedded in the glass itself during the molten forming process. The pigment is part of the material structure.
This is why 19th-century stained-glass windows still display vivid colors after 150 years. Your Sienna's hand-tinted glass shades will outlive several home repaints.
— A note from us —
Each Sienna chandelier's hand-tinted glass shades have subtle variations in color saturation and surface texture across multiple shades — these are inherent qualities of the handcraft glass-forming process, contributing to the authentic Mid-Century character. Two Siennas of the same color will share the same overall tone but may differ slightly in shade-to-shade variation; this is what hand-tinted glass is.
For multi-unit orders (matching dining and foyer chandeliers, large home installations), email service@stuberlighting.com — we coordinate matched-batch glass tone across multiple fixtures for visual consistency.
Safety tested for indoor use in dry locations. Built to meet UL, ETL, CE, and SAA electrical safety standards for residential lighting installations.
