Semi uses a shallow arched steel shade to spread light downward without adding unnecessary visual weight overhead. Its clean horizontal form works equally well as one larger pendant or as a repeated row of smaller fixtures.

The Shallow Curve Is the Design.
Rather than using a deep bell or globe, Semi keeps the metal profile low and wide. The result is a clean ceiling line with focused light directed toward the surface below.
Steel Body A rigid metal structure keeps the broad shallow profile clean and precise.
Enamel Finish Factory-cured color finish on Black, White, Gold, Orange, Yellow and Beige.
Chrome Uses a polished plated metal finish rather than colored enamel.

Easy Choice Start With the Room.
Black / White / Beige are easiest to integrate. Gold adds warmth. Chrome feels cooler and more architectural. Orange and Yellow work best when the pendant is meant to be the color accent.

Small for Rhythm. Large for Presence.
The two sizes have the same shallow character but behave very differently in a room. Small works especially well in repeated installations; Large has enough width to stand comfortably on its own.

Semi connects to a standard ceiling junction box. The 59-inch cord can be shortened to your preferred hanging height during installation. Licensed-electrician installation is recommended.
For guaranteed dimming, replace the included bulb with a compatible dimmable E26/E27 LED and use a compatible Triac wall dimmer.
A plug-in conversion can be requested before ordering, using an approximately 196" / 5m cord routed from a ceiling hook to a wall outlet. Contact support@stuberlighting.com if the plug-in version is required.

Design lineage: Semi is an independent contemporary interpretation of the classic Danish shallow arched-enamel pendant typology. It is not an authenticated Gubi Semi Pendant and is not manufactured or licensed by Gubi or the original designers' estates.
Before You Choose.
Small or Large?
Choose Small Ø11.8" when you plan to use several pendants together over a kitchen island or rectangular dining table. Choose Large Ø18.5" when you want one pendant to carry more visual presence on its own.
Is the bulb included and can Semi be dimmed?
Yes. A warm-white E26/E27 LED bulb is included. For guaranteed dimming, replace it with a compatible dimmable E26/E27 LED and pair the fixture with a compatible Triac wall dimmer.
Can I change the hanging height?
Yes. The standard suspension cord is approximately 59" / 150cm and can be shortened during installation to suit your ceiling and furniture height. Longer suspension can also be requested.
Can I order Semi as a plug-in pendant?
Yes. The standard configuration is hardwired, but an approximately 196" / 5m plug-in cord conversion can be requested before ordering. Contact support@stuberlighting.com if you need this configuration.
