— PEBBLE / BULB TABLE LAMP —
The lamp is the bulb,
the bulb is the lamp.
A minimalist glass table lamp shaped like an oversized Edison bulb — the entire fixture is the silhouette, with the LED integrated inside. No shade, no socket, no visible hardware. Just the shape of light itself.

There's a category of design where the object's form is the function. The Pebble is built on that idea — a clear glass table lamp shaped like an oversized Edison bulb, with the entire fixture standing in for what would normally be a base plus a shade plus a visible bulb. The light source is integrated LED inside the glass, so the silhouette stays clean from any angle.
The result reads more like a sculptural object than a traditional lamp. On a bedside table, it disappears into the architecture of the room rather than competing for visual space. On a console in the foyer, it reads as a deliberate Minimalist statement. In a Tea Room or café, it carries Industrial Edison-era warmth without the busy hardware of vintage exposed-bulb fixtures.
Integrated LED, no bulbs to replace. 50,000 hour lifespan. Built to UL safety standards. Two sizes — 6.7" for compact bedside and accent placement, 9.8" for console tables and statement positioning. Standard warm 3000K; 4000K or 6000K available by request before order.

What makes the Pebble
01
Bulb silhouette · the entire form
The glass body matches the proportions of an oversized Edison bulb — round shoulder, slightly tapered neck, simple base. Read at any angle, the lamp looks like a single piece of industrial design rather than an assembled object. There's no shade hiding the bulb because the bulb is the shade.
02
Integrated LED · 50,000 hour life
The LED is integrated inside the glass form, not socketed. This serves the design (no visible bulb socket, no internal hardware visible through clear glass) and the durability (rated 50,000 hours, roughly 30+ years of typical evening use). No bulb replacements, no socket failure points, no need to source matching bulbs over the years.
03
Three color temperatures · 3000K standard
Ships at warm 3000K by default — the right color for bedside, living room, and ambient evening use. 4000K neutral and 6000K cool are available by request before order; email service@stuberlighting.com with your preferred Kelvin and we'll build to spec. Lead time adds 1-2 weeks for non-standard temperature builds.
04
In-line cord switch · simple control
A small push-button switch sits on the cord itself, roughly 8 inches from the base — toggle on/off without reaching across the bedside table or behind the console. Standard 59-inch cord length; extension cords are available on request for installations where the outlet is further than five feet from the placement.
05
Two sizes for different placements
6.7" small (10.2" total height) for bedsides, walk-in closets, kids' rooms, narrow consoles, and pair placement on either side of a bed. 9.8" medium (16.5" total height) for larger console tables, statement living-room accents, and Tea Room or café table lighting where the object should hold visual presence.
— On form as function —
"The most honest object is the one where the form and the function are the same thing."
Most table lamps are three things stacked: a base, a stem, and a shade with a bulb inside. The Pebble collapses that hierarchy. The glass body is the form; the LED inside is the function; the result reads as one continuous object rather than three assembled parts. There's no visible bulb because the lamp is shaped like the bulb. There's no visible shade because the glass itself is the diffuser.
This kind of minimalist Industrial design has a specific application — rooms where the lighting should be present without being declarative. A bedside table doesn't need a complicated lamp; a foyer console doesn't need a dramatic statement; a Tea Room table doesn't need vintage exposed-filament fussiness. The Pebble shows up, glows, and gets out of the way.
— Where it lives —
Recommended spaces
Bedside · 6.7" small · pair recommended
The signature application. A pair of 6.7" Pebbles on either side of the bed creates a clean symmetrical bedside arrangement without the visual weight of traditional shaded lamps. Warm 3000K matches the typical bedroom color story; in-line switch on the cord eliminates the fumble for a switch in the dark.
Console table or foyer · 9.8" medium · single statement
A single 9.8" Pebble centered on a foyer console table is the most quietly assertive Minimalist statement available. Reads contemporary without trying. Pairs well with framed art above and a small tray for keys/mail at the base.
Reading corner · 6.7" or 9.8" · ambient companion
The Pebble is best used as ambient lighting in reading corners — it provides a soft glow that warms the space without being bright enough for task reading. Pair with a directional reading floor lamp for actual page illumination, with the Pebble as background warmth.
Tea Room or café · 9.8" medium · per table
One 9.8" Pebble per Tea Room or café table delivers intimate warm glow without the vintage Edison-bulb fussiness that has become visually overused. Reads more contemporary than retro. For bulk orders (10+ units), email us for matched-batch glass tone and commercial pricing.
Living room accent · 6.7" small · side table corner
Small Pebbles work as ambient accent lighting on living room side tables — between sofas, next to chairs, in the corners that need a soft light source without taking up the visual space a larger lamp would demand.

Questions
Which size should I order — 6.7" or 9.8"? +
6.7" small — for bedside tables (especially in pairs), small accent placement, kids' rooms, and narrow consoles where a larger lamp would feel crowded. The most common size for bedrooms.
9.8" medium — for foyer consoles, larger living room side tables, Tea Room/café tables, and statement placements where the lamp should hold visual weight. More architectural presence at 16.5" total height.
By application: Bedside = 6.7" (pair). Foyer = 9.8" (single). Living room side table = 6.7" or 9.8" depending on table size and visual goal.
Can I dim the Pebble? +
No — the Pebble is not dimmable. The in-line cord switch is a simple on/off control, and the integrated LED runs at a fixed warm 3000K brightness. The lamp is designed to provide consistent ambient warmth rather than variable atmosphere.
If you specifically need dimmable bedside or accent lighting, consider the Wynne Portable Lantern (touch dimming + cordless) or a fixture with E26 socket and dimmable LED bulb. The Pebble's strength is simplicity, not atmosphere control.
Can I get 4000K or 6000K instead of 3000K? +
Yes — but request before ordering. The Pebble ships at warm 3000K by default, which suits most residential applications (bedside, living room, foyer ambient lighting).
4000K Neutral White — for home offices, café/Tea Room applications where balanced daylight reading is preferred
6000K Cool White — for utility spaces or modern minimalist installations where crisp clinical light is the goal
Email service@stuberlighting.com with your size and desired Kelvin temperature before placing the order. We'll confirm availability and provide a custom checkout link. Lead time adds 1-2 weeks for non-standard temperature builds.
What happens when the LED eventually fails? +
At 50,000 hours of rated life (~30+ years at typical evening use), most owners will replace the lamp for stylistic reasons long before the LED fails. If it does fail, the entire fixture is designed to be replaced rather than repaired — there are no socketed bulbs to swap, but the lamp itself is fully recyclable (glass body, metal base, internal electronics).
What if I need a longer cord? +
Available on request. The Pebble ships with a 59-inch (5 ft) cord by default — sufficient for most bedside and console placements within standard reach of a wall outlet.
For placements further from outlets (large living rooms, off-center foyer consoles, deep bedroom layouts), email service@stuberlighting.com with your needed length. Extensions up to 10 feet available at no additional charge.
— A note from us —
Each Pebble glass body is individually formed with subtle variations in glass thickness and surface clarity — these are inherent qualities of the glass-forming process. For pair or multi-unit orders (matching bedside lamps, restaurant/café installations), email service@stuberlighting.com — we coordinate matched-batch glass tone and offer bulk pricing for orders of 5+ units.
Safety tested for indoor use in dry locations. Built to meet UL, ETL, CE, and SAA electrical safety standards for residential lighting installations.
