The Shape & The Light
A glowing disc, floating overhead.
The rounded, UFO-inspired silhouette is pure mid-century modern — clean, low, and sculptural. The opal-white acrylic shade diffuses the bulb into a soft, even glow with no harsh hotspot, and directs the light gently downward onto the surface below. It's flattering over food and faces, and calm enough to live with every evening.
Opal-White Acrylic
A soft, luminous shine.
The shade has a smooth, opal-white finish that glows warmly when lit and reads clean and sculptural when off. It softens and spreads the light rather than letting the bulb glare through.
Light Yet Sturdy
Thick acrylic, not glass.
The shade is thickened acrylic — lightweight and durable, so it's easier to handle overhead and far less prone to cracking or shattering than a glass shade of the same size.
Installation
A hardwired ceiling fixture.
Hardwired
This is a ceiling-mounted, hardwired pendant — it connects to your ceiling wiring, not a plug and cord. We recommend professional installation by a licensed electrician.
Wall-Switch Ready
It works with a common wall switch (not included), so you control it from the wall like any ceiling light. Add a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch if you'd like dimming.
Adjustable Drop
The suspension comes with a 59" (150cm) wire that can be shortened at install for the right hanging height — and extended on request for high ceilings.
The Bulb
A standard E26/E27, up to 40W.
It takes a common E26/E27 bulb (max 40W) — LED or Edison-style, widely available and easy to swap. Choose a warm white for a cozy dining glow, or a brighter neutral white for a working kitchen. For dimming, pick a dimmable bulb and pair it with a compatible wall dimmer.

Honestly, Good to Know
Check the size before you buy. These are broad, low discs — measure your island or table and use the size diagram to picture the drop. Some buyers expect a larger shade than they picture, so confirming the diameter against your space up front avoids surprises.
A soft, ambient glow. The opal acrylic gives a diffused, even light — lovely over a table for atmosphere. For a hard-working task kitchen, pair it with under-cabinet or recessed lighting. Indoor dry locations only (IP20, not waterproof).

How is it installed?+
It's a hardwired ceiling pendant — it connects to your ceiling wiring, not a plug. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician. It works with a standard wall switch (not included).
Which size should I choose?+
Small (∅19.6") suits a breakfast bar, smaller island, or bistro table. Large (∅27.5") suits a full island or larger dining table. Measure your surface and check the size diagram before ordering.
Is the shade glass or plastic?+
It's thickened opal-white acrylic, not glass — we'd rather say so plainly. The upside overhead: it's lightweight and far less likely to crack or shatter than glass, while still giving a soft, luminous glow.
Can I dim it?+
Yes — fit a dimmable E26/E27 bulb and pair it with a compatible wall dimmer switch. The bulb isn't included, so you can pick the brightness and warmth you prefer (max 40W).
Can I change the hanging height?+
Yes — the 59" drop wire can be shortened during installation to set the right height, and extended on request for high ceilings. Email us before ordering if you need a longer drop.
