The Noda is built around two natural materials doing what they do best: a solid wood base, hand-carved so the grain and small imperfections stay visible, and a shade woven from hemp rope. When the lamp is on, light filters through the weave and throws gentle patterns across the wall and table — less a spotlight, more a warm, textured glow. It's the wabi-sabi idea in a single small lamp: beauty in the natural, the handmade, and the imperfect.
It comes in two wood tones and plugs right in — easy to move from a nightstand to a side table to a desk.
The woven hemp shade
Light and shadow, woven by hand.
The shade is woven from natural hemp rope, so the light doesn't just diffuse — it filters through the weave and casts soft, artisanal patterns of light and shadow. It's what gives the Noda its atmosphere.
The hand-carved wood base
Real wood, real grain.
The base is sculpted from natural wood — not composite — so the grain, tone, and small natural marks come through. Each one is a little different, which is the point rather than a flaw.

Takes a standard E26/E27 bulb — use an LED or Edison-style bulb to taste. A warm-white bulb (around 2700K) best suits the wood and hemp. Bulbs are easy to find and swap.
Plug & switch
A plug-in lamp with a 59" (150cm) cord and an inline on/off push-button switch — no wiring needed. Choose your plug type (US / UK / AU / EU) at checkout.
Runs on AC 110–240V. Rated IP20 for indoor, dry locations — not waterproof, so keep it away from moisture. Natural wood and hemp are best kept out of damp areas.
