Mayu pairs an elongated cocoon silhouette with layered handmade rice paper. Its warm diffusion feels calm and intimate, while a foldable internal frame makes the shade unusually easy to ship, install, move and store.

Paper Gives Mayu Its Warmth
The shade uses layered handmade rice paper over a lightweight foldable metal frame. Natural paper texture remains visible by day, then softens the bulb into a warm cocoon glow at night.

Foldable by Design The collapsible structure is intentional. It simplifies shipping, installation and future storage without changing the finished cocoon appearance.
Each paper shade is handmade, so slight variations in texture and dimensions are normal. Screen colors are approximate; hand-measured sizes may vary 1–2cm.
