Does Lumi need to stay plugged in while in use?
Yes. This version is plug-in powered rather than rechargeable, so it is designed to remain connected to a suitable power source while operating.
Does Lumi have a rechargeable battery?
No. This is the plug-in version of Lumi and does not rely on a rechargeable battery or charging cycle for normal operation.
Is Lumi bright enough for reading?
Lumi works well for ambient reading-corner light and general evening illumination. For highly focused reading or detailed desk work, a dedicated task lamp is still recommended.
