The Linora Series draws on the imagery of ancient grove branches: a horizontal gold bar from which four glass orbs hang like fruit at even intervals, each stem capped with a walnut wood finial that brings organic warmth to the fixture's otherwise architectural composition. The glass globes scatter their E26 bulb's output along each vertical channel before releasing it as warm, textured glow — the kind of light that looks like it was planned by someone who understands what light does to a dinner table at 7 PM. Kitchen Island Sizing Guide:

The Linora's 40.5" bar length works optimally above islands and tables in the 36–72" range. For islands under 48", center the Linora directly over the island surface — it will overhang slightly on each end, which is intentional and preferred from a proportion standpoint. For islands 60–84", consider installing two Linoras in a row along the island's length, spaced 6–12" apart for a composed, linear composition.

Hanging Height Guide:

For kitchen islands, hang so the bottom of the lowest globe sits approximately 28–36 inches above the counter surface. For dining tables, hang so the bottom of the lowest globe sits approximately 28–34 inches above the tabletop. The 59" cable allows most standard ceiling heights to achieve the correct drop without extension.

Ceiling Height Compatibility:

Standard installation works well in 8–10 ft ceilings. For ceilings above 10 ft, contact service@stuberlighting.com to request a cable extension before placing your order — we extend to any length at no additional charge.

The Linora is a linear fixture — it commands horizontal space along the ceiling plane above surfaces rather than occupying vertical space below them. This makes it most effective in the spaces where something needs to happen at ceiling height along the length of a surface: above kitchen islands, above dining tables, above kitchen peninsulas, and above sofa back walls in open-plan living areas.

🍳 The Kitchen Island It Was Designed For: The Linora's 40.5" bar length is the standard specification for kitchen island pendant lighting in most US residential kitchens. Four glass globes distribute warm light across the island surface in overlapping pools — covering the full prep and dining area without the dark zones that single pendant fixtures create. Use Edison filament E26 bulbs at 2200K for maximum warmth over a wood or marble countertop. Use 3000K warm white LED for task-quality light that still reads as warm rather than clinical.

🍽️ The Dining Table That Needed This: Above a rectangular dining table in the 48–72" range, the Linora functions as a statement chandelier with linear proportions — more interesting than a round pendant, more cohesive than multiple individual pendants.
