The Linen is the kind of pendant light that doesn't try too hard — and that's exactly the point. A wide drum shade in soft natural fabric, crowned by warm wood, hung from a slim metal frame. Why we made the Linen

At Stuberlighting, not every pendant needs to make a statement. Some need to make a room work. The Linen is built for that — the quiet, useful pendant that hangs in the spots most homes need lit and never quite get right. The drum shape is one of the most successful pendant silhouettes in American design for a reason: it's broad enough to spread light evenly, narrow enough not to dominate the ceiling, and visually quiet enough to fit beside warm wood furniture, beside cool stone counters, beside whatever else is in the room. The fabric softens the bulb; the wood top warms the look. It's not flashy. It's just right.

Where it hangs best

Over a dining table — the 23.6" anchors a full table; hang the shade base 30–34" above the tabletop.

Over a kitchen island — soft fabric light over a hard counter; one large drum, or two of the smaller sizes in a row.

In an entryway — the 15.7" makes a warm, unfussy first impression.

Above a bed — the 19.7" replaces a flush ceiling fixture with something that gives the bedroom real character.
