Why does Lava Cone look different when switched on? +
Its reflective shade changes visually as light becomes visible from inside. When off, it reads more like a reflective decorative object; once illuminated, the inner glow gives the cone added depth.
Is the shade made of glass? +
No. The specified construction uses metal, PVC and plastic. The reflective appearance should not be confused with glass.
Which size should I choose? +
Small measures Ø11" × H17.7" and is easier to place on a nightstand, desk or smaller side table. Large measures Ø15" × H26" and creates substantially more visual height.
Is a bulb included? +
Yes. Lava Cone uses an E26 / E27 socket, and a compatible bulb is included with the lamp.
Does the lamp require installation? +
No electrical installation is required. Lava Cone is plug-in and uses an inline On / Off switch on the power cord.
Can it be used in a bathroom? +
Lava Cone is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations. It is not waterproof and should be kept away from wet areas.
