Lava Column Floor Lamp

Lava Column is a sculptural modern floor lamp built around four irregular reflective globes. Switched off, the surfaces read like mirrored objects; switched on, the globes become translucent and reveal a warm, fluid-looking glow.

Lava is designed to remain visually interesting even when it is not illuminated. The reflective finish changes character once light begins to pass through the distorted globes.

Does the lamp look different when switched off? +
Yes. When switched off, the globes have a stronger reflective, mirror-like appearance. When illuminated, the shades become more translucent and reveal the light inside.

The lamp measures approximately Ø22.8" × H68.9" / Ø58 × H175cm. Measure the full upper globe width when planning space around furniture or walls.
Is this primarily a reading lamp or an ambient lamp? +
Lava Column is best considered decorative ambient lighting. Its sculptural globes are designed to create atmosphere rather than concentrated directional task light.

Yes. Compatible bulbs are included with the floor lamp.

No hardwiring is required. Lava Column is a freestanding plug-in floor lamp, so it only needs assembly according to the supplied instructions and access to a suitable wall outlet.
Is the standard lamp dimmable? +
The standard configuration uses a push-button on/off switch and is not listed with built-in dimming control.
Will every marble base look identical? +
No. Natural marble patterning can vary, so subtle differences in veining and appearance are normal.
Please note: natural marble patterns vary from piece to piece. Small molding traces may also be visible on the underside of molded components and are considered a normal manufacturing characteristic rather than a quality defect. Screen colors are approximate, and hand-measured dimensions may vary by approximately 1–2cm.
