Natural Capiz is translucent rather than opaque, allowing the shells to catch light from several directions. Small differences in tone, texture and transparency create the pearl-like variation that gives the finished fixture its depth.

Tiered Construction
Hundreds of Shells, Held in a Quiet Structure.
Capiz strands are suspended from a stainless-steel multi-tier armature, creating overlapping horizontal layers. The frame stays visually secondary so the shell texture remains the dominant feature from both below and across the room.

These are substantially larger fixtures. Use a ceiling junction box and mounting support appropriate for the final installed weight, and have the fixture installed by an experienced professional.
Small differences in shell transparency, pearl tone, surface texture and shape are expected. These variations are inherent to genuine Capiz shell and are not manufacturing defects.

Before You Choose.
Which size should I choose?
Choose 22.4" for smaller spaces or repeated island installations. The 27.6" and 31.5" versions fit many standard dining rooms, with 31.5" offering the strongest all-around presence. Choose 39.3" or 47.2" for substantially larger tables, rooms and foyer applications.
What is the difference between Laguna and Sirena?
Sirena uses a more compact, rounded layered-shell cluster. Laguna spreads the shell structure outward across multiple horizontal tiers, making it better suited when you want more diameter and less emphasis on vertical drop.
Are the Capiz shells natural?
Yes. Laguna uses natural Capiz shell. Small differences in transparency, pearl tone and surface character are normal because every shell is naturally different.
Can Laguna be dimmed?
Yes, after using compatible dimmable E26/E27 bulbs with a compatible Triac wall dimmer. The included bulbs should be replaced if your installation requires dimming.
Can I request a longer suspension cable?
Yes. Laguna includes approximately 59 inches / 150cm of suspension cable as standard. For higher or vaulted ceilings, email support@stuberlighting.com with your required ceiling-to-fixture drop before ordering.
