— HALDEN / FLUSH MOUNT —

A disc that rotates,
a ceiling that doesn't have to be flat.

A modern slim flush mount with 270° swivel rotation and built-in compatibility for sloped ceilings up to 30° — for the rooms with vaulted ceilings, A-frames, or just a need to point the light somewhere specific.

CRI 98+

Daylight true

A flush mount that solves two specific problems most flush mounts ignore. First — what happens when your ceiling isn't actually flat? A-frame cabins, vaulted living rooms, second-story bedrooms under sloped rooflines: most flush mount fixtures install at an awkward angle, or require a separate adapter, or just don't fit. The Halden is rated for sloped ceilings up to 30 degrees out of the box, no adapter needed.

Second — what happens when the light needs to point somewhere specific? Standard flush mounts cast light straight down, period. The Halden's entire disc rotates through 270 degrees of motion, letting you direct the warm acrylic-diffused glow toward a reading chair, an art piece, or a corner the room needs brightened. Height is fixed at installation, but the direction stays adjustable for the life of the fixture.

Integrated LED, no bulbs to replace. CRI 98+ near-daylight color accuracy. Built to UL safety standards. Two colorways — quiet Cream or muted Sage Green — both finished with a warm Terracotta canopy that anchors the fixture in the Earthy palette currently defining American interiors.

— Two colorways —

Cream or Sage, both with Terracotta

+ TERRACOTTA

CREAM · WARM IVORY

Soft & timeless

Warm ivory shade anchored by the Terracotta canopy. Works in any interior style — Modern, Scandinavian, Transitional, Mid-Century. The Cream reads softer than pure white, picking up warmer tones from the room without becoming yellow. The Terracotta canopy adds a deliberate Earthy accent above.

+ TERRACOTTA

SAGE GREEN · MUTED OLIVE

Fresh & quietly contemporary

Muted Sage olive shade with the same warm Terracotta canopy. The Sage-and-Terracotta combination is one of the defining American Earthy palettes of 2024-2026 — paired with botanical accents, white cabinetry, walnut floors. Reads quietly contemporary without becoming bold.

Terracotta canopy is the signature. Both colorways share the same warm Terracotta canopy plate above the shade — a deliberate Mid-Century touch finished with the same automotive-grade spray process as the disc shade itself. Resistant to chips, scratches, and yellowing.

— Engineering & design —

What makes the Halden

01

270° swivel rotation — direct the light

The entire disc rotates through 270 degrees of motion on a precision-engineered swivel joint. Point the warm glow toward a reading chair, an art piece on the opposite wall, or simply brighten a corner the room needs filled. Height is fixed at installation, but the rotation stays adjustable for the life of the fixture — turn it by hand whenever the room's needs change.

02

Sloped ceiling ready — up to 30°

Rated for installation on sloped ceilings up to 30 degrees out of the box, no separate adapter required. A-frame cabins, vaulted living rooms, second-story bedrooms with cathedral ceilings — the Halden is engineered specifically for these spaces. Most flush mount fixtures aren't; the Halden was designed to be.

03

CRI 98+ near-daylight color rendering

CRI (Color Rendering Index) measures how accurately a light source reproduces colors compared to natural daylight. Standard LED fixtures rate CRI 80-85. The Halden's premium LED chip rates CRI 98+ — near-daylight accuracy that interior designers, art collectors, and color-critical professionals specifically look for. Skin tones, fabric colors, artwork, and natural materials all read true under Halden light.

04

Slim 3.5" disc profile

Thin enough to read flush, thick enough to read deliberate. At 3.5 inches off the ceiling, the Halden sits between an ultra-thin disc and a deeper drum — clean and architectural without disappearing entirely. Available in 11.8", 15.7", and 19.7" diameters to suit rooms from small bedrooms to large living areas.

05

Triac dimmable · automotive-grade finish

Triac dimmable from 100% to a warm intimate glow — works with standard leading-edge wall dimmers already installed in most American homes. The disc shade itself is finished using the same multi-stage spray process found in premium automotive manufacturing, delivering a surface that resists chips, scratches, and UV yellowing far beyond standard powder coats.

— On sloped ceilings —

"American homes aren't built with flat ceilings everywhere. The lighting industry mostly pretends they are."

Walk through any American suburb and you'll find sloped ceilings in roughly a third of homes — A-frame cabins, mid-century split-levels, second-story bedrooms under pitched rooflines, vaulted living rooms in newer construction, finished attics in older homes. Yet the vast majority of flush mount ceiling fixtures are engineered for one ceiling angle: zero degrees. Flat.

The Halden is engineered specifically for the 30-degree-or-less sloped ceiling category. The mounting hardware accommodates the angle directly — no separate adapter, no junction box modifications, no electrician improvisations. The disc sits flush against the slope at any installation angle within range, and the 270° swivel lets you redirect the light back to horizontal if needed. Vaulted ceilings, cathedral ceilings, A-frame ceilings — all served correctly.

— Choosing your size —

Three sizes, three room scales

11.8"

SMALL · 32W · ~MOST POPULAR

For small bedrooms, kids' rooms, walk-in closets, hallway accents. The most-ordered Halden size — works in most apartment-scale rooms and on shorter sloped ceilings where a wider fixture would crowd the angle.

15.7"

MEDIUM · 36W · VERSATILE

For standard bedrooms, home offices, dining nooks, medium kitchens. The most versatile Halden — works as a primary ceiling light in most American residential rooms without feeling either undersized or imposing. Best balance of presence and proportion.

19.7"

LARGE · 36W · STATEMENT

For large bedrooms, open-plan living rooms, primary living rooms, large kitchens. The 19.7" reads architectural — a deliberate focal point rather than a quiet utility fixture. Particularly striking on vaulted ceilings where the disc proportion fills the visual space without dominating.

— Where it lives —

Recommended spaces

Vaulted living room or A-frame cabin — 15.7" or 19.7"

The defining application. Sloped ceiling, 30° or less, the Halden installs directly without a separate adapter. Rotate the disc to direct light toward the conversation area, the wall art, or the reading corner — whatever the room actually needs.

Primary bedroom — 11.8" or 15.7" · Sage Green

Sage Green Halden over the bed with the Terracotta canopy reading earthy and grounded. The 270° rotation lets you point light toward a reading chair or away from the bed for sleep. Triac dimming for evening atmosphere.

Dining room — 15.7" or 19.7" · Cream

Cream Halden centered over a dining table or sideboard. CRI 98+ means food and table settings read true — meaningful for hosting and food photography. Rotate the light toward the table center, then dim for evening dinners.

Hallway — 11.8" series · Sage Green or Cream

Two or three 11.8" Haldens spaced down a long hallway. The Terracotta canopy creates the architectural color moment hallways often lack; the rotating direction lets you angle light toward gallery walls or away from doorways depending on the layout.

Finished attic or second-story bedroom — 11.8" or 15.7"

Second-story bedrooms under sloped rooflines are the Halden's home territory. Most flush mount fixtures install awkwardly here; the Halden's 30° sloped ceiling rating means it sits correctly the first time. Pair with the smaller 11.8" size for tight angled walls.

— Before you order —

Questions

My ceiling is sloped — will the Halden actually fit correctly? +

Yes — if your ceiling slope is 30 degrees or less. The Halden's mounting hardware accommodates sloped installations directly without a separate sloped-ceiling adapter (which most flush mount fixtures require, and which adds $30-60 to installation cost). This covers:

· Vaulted ceilings — typical 15-25° slope
· A-frame cabins — typically 20-30° slope, sometimes steeper near the apex
· Cathedral ceilings — typically 10-20° slope
· Second-story bedrooms under pitched roofs — typically 15-25° slope
· Finished attics — typically 20-30° slope

If your slope exceeds 30°, contact service@stuberlighting.com with the angle and we'll advise whether the Halden fits or whether a different fixture is needed.

What does the 270° swivel actually do? Can I adjust it after installation? +

The entire disc rotates 270 degrees on a precision swivel joint at the canopy plate. This means you can redirect where the light points — toward a reading chair, a piece of art, the seating area, away from glare on a TV — at any time, even years after installation. Just rotate the disc gently by hand; the friction-fitted joint holds position once set.

Important distinction: The swivel adjusts direction, not height. The fixture's distance from the ceiling is fixed at installation and can't be changed without reinstalling. But the direction stays adjustable for the life of the fixture.

Which color should I order — Cream or Sage Green? +

Cream — choose for transitional interiors, traditional homes, neutral palettes, and any room where the fixture should read warm but not assert a specific color story. Works against any ceiling, any wall color, any flooring. The Terracotta canopy provides enough Earthy accent without requiring the whole room to match.

Sage Green — choose for Cottagecore interiors, modern country homes, botanical-leaning palettes, and rooms with white cabinetry or walnut floors where Sage reads as a deliberate complementary tone. The Sage + Terracotta combination is one of the strongest Earthy palettes in current American interior design — particularly striking in kitchens, dining rooms, and primary bedrooms.

Can't decide? Cream is the safer all-around choice. Sage Green is the one you'll be happy to point out to guests.

What is CRI 98+ and does it actually matter? +

CRI (Color Rendering Index) measures how accurately a light source reproduces colors compared to natural daylight, on a scale of 0-100. Sunlight = CRI 100. Standard LED ceiling fixtures = CRI 80-85. The Halden = CRI 98+.

Does it matter? Depends on what's in the room. If you have:
· Artwork on the walls — yes. Standard LED lights desaturate red and warm tones, making paintings look washed out. CRI 98+ shows colors as the artist intended.
· Skin tones at a dining table — yes. Standard LEDs make faces look slightly off; CRI 98+ keeps them looking natural.
· Textile colors (rugs, throw pillows, curtains) — yes. The exact same fabric reads warmer under high-CRI light.
· A utility hallway with no art and no detail — probably not. Standard CRI works fine.

If you'd describe yourself as someone who notices these things, CRI 98+ is worth the premium. If not, you can save by choosing a standard CRI fixture (Astra, for example, doesn't specify CRI 98+).

How is the Halden different from the Astra, Lottie, or Soren? +

Four flush mount fixtures, four different jobs:

· Astra — 1.9" ultra-slim, Modern Scandinavian minimalism, White or Green, no rotation, flat ceilings only. Best for low ceilings and minimalist interiors.
· Lottie — 5.9" semi-flush mushroom shape, Vintage Retro stained glass in 4 colors, no rotation, flat ceilings only. Best for Cottagecore/Y2K/Maximalist interiors.
· Soren — 7" Modern Smart Home drum, remote-dimmable, tri-color temperature switching, larger sizes, no rotation, flat ceilings only. Best for primary living rooms and tech-forward homes.
· Halden (this one) — 3.5" Modern Earthy disc, 270° rotation, sloped ceiling compatible up to 30°, CRI 98+, Cream or Sage Green with Terracotta canopy. Best for vaulted ceilings, A-frame cabins, and Earthy/designer interiors.

Choose Halden if: Your ceiling is sloped, you want to rotate the light direction, you care about CRI accuracy, or you want the Earthy Terracotta palette. Choose any other fixture if your ceiling is flat and these features don't matter.

Can I order a different color temperature (4000K or 6000K)? +

Yes — but you need to request it before ordering. The default ships at warm 3000K, which suits most residential applications (living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms). Cooler temperatures are available as a custom-build option:

· 4000K Neutral White — for kitchens, home offices, hallways where balanced daylight reading is preferred
· 6000K Cool White — for utility spaces, garages, workshops where bright clinical light is the goal

Email service@stuberlighting.com with your size, color preference, and desired Kelvin temperature before placing the order. We'll confirm availability, lead time (typically adds 1-2 weeks), and provide a custom checkout link.

— A note from us —

The Terracotta canopy color is consistent across both shade colorways — Cream-shade and Sage-Green-shade Haldens share the same warm Terracotta canopy plate. For multi-fixture orders (whole-home installations, hallway runs, multi-room renovations), email service@stuberlighting.com — we coordinate matched-batch automotive spray finish across all fixtures in the same order for consistent surface tone.

Safety tested for indoor use in dry locations. Built to meet UL, ETL, CE, and SAA electrical safety standards for residential lighting installations.
