Light Brown or Dark Brown — which color should I choose? +

Light Brown — best for airy, neutral, light-toned interiors with white walls, pale wood floors, linen upholstery; reads as warm-cream against bright surfaces. Dark Brown — best for moody, architectural settings with charcoal or saturated wall colors, dark wood floors, leather furniture; reads as substantial focal point against rich surfaces. If your room has lots of warm-wood furniture, choose Light Brown for contrast. If your room is mostly cool-toned, Dark Brown adds warmth. Both colors maintain the same fabric weave texture and wood ring — only the fabric color and wood tone vary.

What size dining table fits the 20.5" Givora? +

For dining tables, the rule of thumb is the pendant should be 1/2 to 3/4 of the table's longest dimension. A single 20.5" Givora covers tables 28-40 inches wide — most 4-person round tables, smaller 4-6 person rectangular tables. For longer rectangular tables (60-80 inches), pair two Givoras spaced 30-36 inches apart. For very long tables (8+ person), pair three. Always hang the bottom 30-36 inches above the tabletop for proper proportion and to avoid blocking sightlines across the table.

How do I care for the handwoven fabric shade? +

Dust gently with a soft brush attachment on a vacuum (low suction) or a microfiber cloth. Do not wet-clean, steam, machine wash, or use chemical cleaners on the fabric. For stuck-on dust, a clean dry paint brush works well between weave fibers. The wood ring can be wiped with a slightly damp microfiber cloth (then dried immediately); avoid soaking the wood or using harsh cleaners. Keep away from humid environments (avoid bathroom or near steamy kitchens). With basic monthly dusting, both materials maintain their appearance for many years.


For the warmest atmospheric glow, pair with 2700K-3000K LED or filament bulbs with high color rendering (CRI/Ra > 90). Cooler bulbs flatten the fabric's natural warm undertone.

Each piece is handwoven by artisans — slight variations in fabric texture, weave pattern, and wood grain are part of the authentic hand-craft character.
