GINKGO SERIES · N°12 · STYLE E

Choose your leaf density.
Modern French country botanical.

The Style E is the Ginkgo Series' answer to a specific question: how densely should the porcelain ginkgo leaves cluster on the fixture? Model A (dense radial round drum, 5 sizes to Dia 59.1") reads as sculptural botanical presence. Model B (sparse airy round drum, 4 sizes) shares the same Rose Gold framing but with roughly one-third fewer leaves — reads as breathable French country composition. Three linear Models complete the family: Model C (rectangular volume W 25.6"), Model D (narrow W 13.8"), Model E (ultra-slim W 7.9"). Twelve configurations, five Models, one botanical vocabulary. Modern French country inspiration; entry price $580.

Model A

Dense radial.

5 sizes · G9 × 6-16

Sculptural botanical presence. Reads as fully-formed round drum from any angle. Correct when the fixture should hold visual weight and dimensional composition.

Model B

Sparse airy.

4 sizes · G9 × 4-10 (fewer bulbs)

Breathable French country composition. Same Rose Gold frame as Model A but roughly one-third fewer leaves. Reads as delicate airy botanical rather than dense sculptural.

Density is a design decision.

Most chandeliers offer size choice — small, medium, large — but very few offer density choice. The Style E is designed around exactly that specification. Model A and Model B share the same Rose Gold circular frame at every diameter (Dia 23.6", 31.5", 39.4", 47.2"), but the two Models differ in one critical way: Model A packs the porcelain ginkgo leaves densely across the frame's radial pattern, while Model B distributes fewer leaves across the same frame with breathing space between them.

The visual result is dramatic. Model A (dense) reads as sculptural botanical presence — the fixture holds visual weight and dimensional composition, reads as intentional statement above the surface below. Model B (sparse) reads as breathable French country arrangement — the fixture feels delicate and airy, with negative space between leaves that lets the ceiling above show through. Same room can specify either Model at any diameter depending on which visual register the interior needs. Model A also uniquely offers a Dia 59.1" flagship configuration — the largest round Ginkgo Chandelier in the series.

Three linear Models (C, D, E) complete the family with progressively narrower rectangular volumes: Model C at Width 25.6", Model D at Width 13.8", Model E at ultra-slim Width 7.9" — the narrowest linear composition in the entire Ginkgo Series. Together, twelve configurations across five Models cover residential rooms from powder-room accent to grand double-height foyer statement.

Density choice

Round drum in two densities.

Model A · Dense radial

Sculptural botanical presence.

5 sizes · uniform H 11.8"

Dia 23.6"—59.1"

The dense radial round drum. Porcelain ginkgo leaves cluster densely across the Rose Gold circular frame in a full radial pattern — the fixture reads as a fully-formed sculptural botanical composition. Correct for dining rooms and foyers where the fixture is meant to hold visual weight, statement rooms, and interiors where dense presence is architecturally supported. The Dia 59.1" flagship is the largest round configuration in the entire Ginkgo Series.

Model B · Sparse airy

Breathable French country.

4 sizes · H 11.8-13.8"

Dia 23.6"—47.2"

The sparse airy round drum. Same Rose Gold circular frame as Model A at every diameter — but distributed with roughly one-third fewer porcelain leaves, leaving breathing space between each leaf in the radial pattern. The fixture reads as delicate French country botanical composition rather than dense sculptural presence. Correct for dining rooms with restrained visual palettes, primary bedrooms, powder rooms, and interiors where airy botanical composition is the specification.

Three linear Models

Width from full to ultra-slim.

All three at L 47.2" · G9 × 8 · same length, different volumes

Model C

Rectangular volume.

W 25.6" · full volume

The rectangular volume Model. Full 25.6" Width creates three-dimensional presence with leaves distributed on all four sides of the linear frame. Reads as dimensional sculptural composition rather than flat linear ribbon.

L 47.2" × W 25.6" × H 13.8"

8 × G9

Model D

Narrow linear.

W 13.8" · standard

The middle-ground linear Model. Compressed 13.8" Width — slim enough for standard-height ceilings but still with dimensional volume. Correct for kitchen islands with clearance concerns, primary bedrooms, and standard-scale dining applications.

L 47.2" × W 13.8" × H 13.8"

8 × G9

Model E ★

Ultra-slim.

W 7.9" · narrowest in series

The ultra-slim Model — the narrowest linear composition in the entire Ginkgo Series. 7.9" cross-section reads as an almost-ribbon botanical linear. Correct for kitchen islands with minimal cooking headspace, home bar counters with 8-ft residential ceilings, and interiors where the fixture must stay compressed near the ceiling plane.

L 47.2" × W 7.9" × H 7.9"

Choosing

A three-step decision.

1

Round or linear?

If your surface below is round (round dining table, foyer rotunda, powder-room vanity) — Model A (dense) or Model B (sparse) is the correct specification. If your surface is rectangular (long dining table, kitchen island, home bar counter) — choose from Model C (25.6" W), D (13.8" W), or E (7.9" W) based on desired volume.

2

For round: dense or sparse?

Model A (dense) — for statement dining rooms, grand foyers, rooms where the fixture holds visual weight. The Dia 59.1" flagship reads as architectural botanical presence. Model B (sparse) — for restrained dining rooms, primary bedrooms, powder rooms, French country interiors where breathable delicate composition is the specification. Same diameter in both Models; different visual weight.

3

Match size to your surface.

For round dining tables: fixture diameter 12-18" less than table diameter. Ø 23.6" for 36" table, Ø 31.5" for 48" table, Ø 39.4" for 60" table, Ø 47.2" for 66"+ table, Ø 59.1" (Model A only) for grand banquet-scale rounds. For linear rectangular surfaces: all three Linear Models are 47.2" length — choose based on Width preference (C for volume presence, D for standard, E for ultra-slim compression).

Applications

Six rooms for French country botanical.

Application 01

Round dining rooms.

Model A (dense) or Model B (sparse) above round dining tables. Model A reads as sculptural statement for formal French country dining; Model B reads as delicate airy for restrained interiors. Ø 39.4-47.2" fits standard 6-8-seat round tables; Ø 59.1" (Model A flagship) for grand banquet-scale.

Application 02

Foyers & entryway rotundas.

Ø 31.5-47.2" (Model A dense) in grand foyers with formal welcome register. Ø 23.6-31.5" (Model B sparse) in mid-size foyers with French country restrained palette. The Dia 59.1" Model A flagship reads as architectural botanical statement in double-height entryway rotundas.

Application 03

Kitchen islands.

Model D (13.8" narrow) or Model E (7.9" ultra-slim) above long marble or walnut kitchen islands. Model E's ultra-slim cross-section is particularly correct where cooking headspace clearance is minimal and the fixture must stay compressed near the ceiling.

Application 04

Bedrooms & powder rooms.

Ø 23.6-31.5" Model B (sparse) in primary bedrooms and powder rooms — the airy composition reads as considered decorative accent without demanding architectural dominance. Model E (ultra-slim linear) works well above powder-room vanities and dressing-room islands.

Application 05 · commercial

Boutique restaurants.

Model A (dense) Ø 47.2-59.1" above round dining tables in French country boutique restaurants and hospitality private-dining. Model C rectangular volume above long tables. Matched-batch coordination for multi-fixture installations available.

Application 06 · commercial

Boutique hotel reception.

Model A (dense) Ø 47.2-59.1" in boutique-hotel reception areas and hospitality lounge central positions. The dense radial composition holds visual authority; the French country register pairs particularly well with warm-white marble and walnut interior finishes.

Craft

Patient. Handcrafted. Rose Gold framed.

Every ceramic ginkgo leaf across every Style E configuration and every Model is individually hand-shaped from porcelain clay in our atelier. Because Style E offers both dense (Model A) and sparse (Model B) round drums plus three progressively narrower linear compositions, the leaf-count range across the twelve configurations is substantial — from approximately 30 leaves for the smallest Model B (Dia 23.6") to over 260 leaves for the Model A flagship (Dia 59.1"). Each leaf receives multiple hand-brushed applications of matte-white glaze that produces the fixture's flawless consistent French country finish.

The metal frame is polished Rose Gold as standard across every Model — a warm pink-gold register that pairs particularly well with matte-white porcelain and reads more contemporary than traditional yellow-gold finishes. Alternative finishes (Copper Gold, Nickel, Chrome, White, Gold, Black) are made-to-order at no additional charge. Production lead times run 4-6 weeks; the Model A Dia 59.1" flagship configuration may extend proportionally depending on ceramic kiln capacity.

Questions

Model A (dense) or Model B (sparse) — how do I choose?

The choice is a design decision, not a size decision. Both Models share the same Rose Gold circular frame at every diameter — the difference is in how densely the porcelain ginkgo leaves cluster on that frame. Model A (dense radial) packs leaves closely in the full radial pattern; reads as sculptural botanical presence, holds visual weight, correct for statement dining rooms, grand foyers, hospitality reception, and interiors where the fixture is meant to command architectural attention. Model B (sparse airy) distributes roughly one-third fewer leaves across the same frame; reads as delicate French country arrangement with breathing space between leaves, correct for restrained dining rooms, primary bedrooms, powder rooms, mid-size foyers, and interiors with warm-white palette where breathable botanical composition matches the room's design vocabulary. When in doubt: Model A is more sculptural; Model B is more delicate. Same diameter available in both.

Which linear Model — C (25.6" W), D (13.8" W), or E (7.9" W)?

All three Linear Models are L 47.2" with G9×8 bulbs — the only difference is Width (cross-section). Model C (W 25.6" · full rectangular volume): for formal dining rooms and executive spaces where the fixture should hold three-dimensional sculptural presence with leaves distributed on all four sides of the frame. Model D (W 13.8" · narrow standard): for standard residential dining rooms and kitchen islands with 9-ft ceilings; the middle-ground linear composition. Model E (W 7.9" · ultra-slim): the narrowest linear composition in the entire Ginkgo Series — for kitchen islands with minimal cooking headspace, home bar counters with 8-ft residential ceilings, and any interior where the fixture must stay compressed near the ceiling plane. Model E's cross-section is roughly one-third of Model C's — same length, three completely different visual weights.

Style E vs Style G vs Style F — which multi-Model round Ginkgo?

All three offer round drum compositions in the Ginkgo Series, each with different specifications. Style G — 2 Models × 7 configurations (Model A shallow flat 11.8" H, Model B deeper drum 15.7" H); the choice is drum height for standard-height ceilings; entry price $580, max Ø 47.2". Style F — 6 Models × 16 configurations covering round drum + rectangular linear + cascading; the choice is completely different forms across the family; entry price $550, max Ø 47.2" for round. Style E (this fixture) — 5 Models × 12 configurations with the unique leaf density choice (Model A dense vs Model B sparse at same diameters); + Model A Dia 59.1" is the largest round Ginkgo Chandelier in the series; + Model E linear at ultra-slim W 7.9" is the narrowest linear composition. Choose Style E when you want the density choice (dense vs sparse) or when you want either the largest round drum or the narrowest linear in the Ginkgo Series.

Do I have enough ceiling clearance?

Minimum ceiling requirements depend on Model. Model E (ultra-slim 7.9" fixture H): 8-ft ceilings work comfortably — the ultra-slim cross-section keeps the fixture compressed near the ceiling plane. Model D (13.8" H) & Model B (11.8-13.8" H): 8-9-ft ceilings recommended. Model A (11.8" H · small-to-mid sizes): 8-9-ft residential ceilings work. Model C (13.8" H rectangular volume): 9-10 ft recommended for the fixture's Width to read as intended. Model A Ø 47.2"/59.1" (larger flagship): 10-12 ft recommended, with 12-ft-plus offering the fixture visual space to read as intended architectural botanical composition. Add wire length (59" standard, adjustable) to fixture height when calculating total drop. Extended wire lengths available at no extra charge for all Models.

Can I change the frame colour from Rose Gold?

Yes, at no extra charge across all five Models. The default is Rose Gold — a warm pink-gold register that pairs particularly well with matte-white porcelain and reads as sophisticated modern French country. Alternative finishes: Copper Gold (warmer classical register), Nickel (cool neutral), Chrome (silver-modern), White (monochrome), Gold (traditional yellow), Black (architectural contemporary). Specify at checkout by leaving a note, or write to support@stuberlighting.com within 24 hours of order placement. For French country interiors specifying warm palettes, Rose Gold or Copper Gold typically read most complementary.

Can I dim it?

Yes — strongly recommended across all Models and configurations, particularly Model A higher-bulb-count variants (Ø 47.2" uses 12 G9, Ø 59.1" flagship uses 16 G9). The included G9 LEDs are non-dimmable warm-white. Replace with dimmable G9 LEDs (widely available, $10-18 each) and install a triac-compatible wall dimmer. At 40-60% brightness, the porcelain leaves catch light at their most atmospheric register — the fixture reads as French country botanical composition rather than as bright task illumination. For dining rooms and hospitality, dimmable control is essentially required to enable evening-service and event-mode lighting scenes.

How difficult is installation?

Moderate to substantial depending on Model and size. The ceramic leaves ship packed separately from the frame — they attach individually with small screws at installation, and time depends on Model and leaf count. Small configurations (Model B Ø 23.6", Model E ultra-slim, Model D): 90 min to 2 hours, 1 licensed electrician sufficient. Mid-size (Models A/B mid-diameters, Model C rectangular): 2-3 hours, 1 electrician + 1 assistant recommended. Larger (Model A Ø 47.2", Ø 59.1" flagship): 3-4 hours, 2-person licensed installation team strongly recommended for lifting and assembling the round drum during installation. Detailed installation instructions ship with every order. Customer reviews consistently note that installation is time-consuming (particularly attaching over 50-100+ leaves individually) but the finished result is worth the effort.

How do I clean it?

The matte-white porcelain is straightforward to maintain across all Models. Dust with a soft dry microfibre cloth or feather duster; every 3-6 months for residential dining rooms and living rooms, quarterly for kitchen-island installations. Model B's sparse composition is easier to clean than Model A's dense radial (leaf-to-leaf clearance makes access simpler); Model E's ultra-slim linear is the fastest to clean. For accumulated residue, a lightly-damp cloth (water only) restores the finish; never use ammonia, glass cleaner, or abrasive sponges. The Rose Gold frame wipes with a dry microfibre cloth — avoid brass polish or metal cleaner (which strip the protective sealing). For Model A larger configurations (Ø 47.2"/59.1"), plan for 45-90 minutes of thorough cleaning per session because of leaf count.

Trade pricing and hospitality-scale orders?

Yes — the Style E is a specified fixture line for French country boutique-hospitality residential-scale interior projects. Because Model A and Model B share the same frame but with different densities, designers can specify the same diameter in different Models across different rooms (e.g., Model A in dining, Model B in bedroom) with visual consistency of Rose Gold framing. Trade pricing available; matched-batch porcelain coordination for multi-room installations; custom frame finishes; extended wire lengths at no extra charge. Model A Dia 59.1" flagship is particularly specified for boutique-hotel reception and French country hospitality flagship rooms. Production lead times run 4-6 weeks; multi-fixture orders and the Model A Dia 59.1" flagship may extend proportionally depending on ceramic kiln capacity. Write to support@stuberlighting.com with your project brief.

"The Style E is the Ginkgo Series' answer to a design question most fixtures don't ask: how densely should the botanical composition cluster? Model A packs the porcelain ginkgo leaves densely across the radial frame for sculptural presence; Model B distributes fewer leaves across the same frame for breathable French country airiness. Same room can specify either depending on which visual weight the interior needs. Three linear Models complete the family with progressively narrower rectangular volumes — from Model C's full 25.6" Width down to Model E's ultra-slim 7.9" ribbon. Twelve configurations across five Models, one modern French country botanical vocabulary. The twelfth in an ongoing Ginkgo Series."
