GINKGO SERIES · N°15 · STYLE B

Bend the branches. Turn the leaves.
Every install becomes unique.

The Style B is the only Ginkgo Chandelier with a truly adjustable branch-and-leaf system — the Rose Gold branches can be gently bent into your preferred arrangement during installation, and each porcelain ginkgo leaf can be turned to catch light at different angles. Combined with the fixture's two-steel-wire suspension system that lets you adjust hanging length precisely at installation, no two Style B installations look identical. Three Models across eleven configurations. Handcrafted porcelain ginkgo leaves designed to mimic the natural dynamic energy of living plants — the fixture reads as botanical composition that responds to your interior rather than as static factory shape. All configurations use G9 warm-white bulbs; Rose Gold framing default.

3 Models · 11 sizes

L 23.6"-59.1"

A chandelier designed to respond to your interior.

Most chandeliers ship as fixed factory objects — you unbox them, hang them, and they look identical to every other unit of the same product. The Style B is designed the opposite way. Every fixture ships as a collection of components that only becomes a chandelier during installation, and the way it becomes one is genuinely up to you: the Rose Gold branches accept controlled bending during installation, letting you tilt them upward, downward, or laterally for the composition you want; each porcelain leaf can be rotated on its attachment screw to catch light at whatever angle reads best in your room. Two customers with identical models will end up with visibly different fixtures.

The design intent is to mimic the natural dynamic energy of living plants — real ginkgo trees don't grow with mathematically symmetrical branches, they grow with irregular organic asymmetry that responds to sun, wind, and space. The Style B is engineered so your installation can respond the same way to your room's geometry, ceiling height, tabletop position, and the light quality you want in that space.

Three Models across eleven configurations offer linear composition choices. Model A — the standard adjustable linear (four sizes L 31.5-59.1", H proportional). Model B — the ultra-narrow flat linear (three sizes L 39.4-59", W 11.8" compressed cross-section). Model C — the uniform-height linear family (four sizes L 23.6-47.2", H 15.7" uniform across all sizes for visual proportion consistency).

Three Models

Standard. Ultra-narrow. Uniform height.

Model A

Standard linear.

4 sizes · H grows with L

The classic adjustable linear composition — H (13.8-17.7") scales proportionally with L (31.5-59.1") for balanced visual volume across the range. Correct for residential dining rooms, kitchen islands, and standard rectangular surfaces where the fixture should hold dimensional sculptural presence. Branches bend and leaves turn for customized installation.

L 31.5" × H 13.8" · 6 × G9

L 39.4" × H 15.7" · 8 × G9

L 47.2" × H 15.7" · 10 × G9

L 59.1" × H 17.7" · 12 × G9 ★

Model B ★

Ultra-narrow flat.

3 sizes · W 11.8" compressed

The ultra-narrow flat linear composition — compressed 11.8" Width creates an almost-ribbon linear silhouette. Correct for kitchen islands with minimal cooking headspace clearance, home bar counters with standard 8-9-ft residential ceilings, long dining tables where visual volume should stay minimal, and interiors specifying restrained horizontal composition.

L 39.4" × W 11.8" · 4 × G9

L 47.2" × W 11.8" · 6 × G9

L 59" × W 11.8" · 8 × G9 ★

Model C

Uniform height.

4 sizes · uniform H 15.7"

The uniform-height linear family. All four sizes hold the same 15.7" H — visual proportion stays consistent across the range as only L changes (23.6" to 47.2"). Correct for whole-home coordination where matching Style B fixtures in different rooms (dining + kitchen + bedroom) should read with identical visual weight regardless of size.

L 23.6" × H 15.7" · 6 × G9 · compact

L 31.5" × H 15.7" · 8 × G9

L 39.3" × H 15.7" · 10 × G9

L 47.2" × H 15.7" · 10 × G9 ★

Adjustability

Three ways the Style B responds to your interior.

Adjustment 01

Bend the branches.

The Rose Gold metal branches accept controlled bending during installation. Tilt them upward for lighter airier composition; tilt downward for more dimensional presence; adjust laterally for asymmetric organic composition that mimics real ginkgo tree growth. Bend once at installation — the branches hold their position permanently after that.

Adjustment 02

Turn the leaves.

Each porcelain ginkgo leaf attaches with a small screw that lets you rotate the leaf 360° during installation. Turn leaves flat for direct downward light; angle them to catch light at 30-45° for atmospheric warm scatter; alternate angles across the fixture for dynamic composition that responds to your room's light and geometry.

Adjustment 03

Steel-wire suspension.

Two thin steel wires support the fixture (electrical cable runs through the middle). Length is easily adjustable during installation by pushing the wire through the adjuster valve — set the exact hang height your room needs. Note: the wire adjusters are one-way — extend to the length you want, but plan slightly longer than you think you need, since you cannot pull wires back once set.

Customer reviews consistently note that installation takes patience — the customization is what makes the finished fixture unique, but it requires unhurried attention to branch positioning and leaf angles during assembly. The result is a chandelier that reads as designed for your specific room rather than as generic factory shape.

Choosing

A three-step decision.

1

Which Model form?

Model A (standard linear · H proportional): the safest choice for dining rooms and kitchen islands where the fixture should hold balanced dimensional volume across the range. Model B (ultra-narrow flat · W 11.8"): for kitchen islands with minimal cooking headspace, home bar counters, long dining tables where compressed visual weight is the specification. Model C (uniform H 15.7"): for whole-home coordination where multiple Style B fixtures in different rooms should read with identical visual proportion regardless of size.

2

Match size to your surface.

For rectangular dining tables: fixture length 60-75% of table length. 6-seat table (8 ft): Model A L 31.5" · Model B L 39.4" · Model C L 31.5". 8-seat (10 ft): Model A L 39.4-47.2" · Model B L 47.2" · Model C L 39.3-47.2". 10-seat (12 ft): Model A L 59.1" · Model B L 59" · Model C L 47.2". Small dining nook or bedroom: Model C L 23.6" — the most compact Style B configuration.

3

Plan installation time honestly.

The Style B's adjustable design means installation takes longer than a fixed-frame chandelier — you're not just hanging a fixture, you're composing the branches and leaves as they're attached. Plan for 3-6 hours depending on Model size, with 2-person installation strongly recommended. If your priority is fast installation with a generic factory look, choose one of our fixed-frame Ginkgo Styles instead (Style D, G, or K). If you want a fixture that reads as designed for your specific room, Style B's adjustability is the correct specification.

Applications

Six rooms across three Models.

Application 01

Rectangular dining rooms.

Model A L 39.4-59.1" above rectangular dining tables in standard residential dining rooms. The adjustable branch-and-leaf composition lets you tune the fixture to the room's specific proportions and light quality. Fixture length 60-75% of table length.

Application 02

Kitchen islands.

Model A or C above marble/walnut kitchen islands where dimensional volume works. Model B (ultra-narrow W 11.8") for kitchen islands where cooking headspace clearance is minimal — the compressed cross-section keeps the fixture above the active work zone.

Application 03

Bedrooms.

Model C L 31.5-39.3" (uniform H 15.7") in primary bedrooms — the consistent visual height reads as considered ceiling anchor. Angle the leaves downward during installation for softer bedroom light quality.

Application 04

Small dining nooks & hallways.

Model C L 23.6" — the most compact Style B configuration. Correct for small dining nooks, hallway accent positions, and interiors where a larger linear composition would be architecturally dominant.

Application 05 · Model B

Home bar counters.

Model B ultra-narrow flat (L 39.4-59" × W 11.8") above home bar counters and long console positions. The compressed 11.8" cross-section reads as considered minimal linear accent without demanding architectural dominance — appropriate for standard 8-9-ft residential ceilings.

Application 06 · commercial

Boutique restaurants.

Model A L 47.2-59.1" flagship above rectangular tables in boutique-restaurant private-dining. The adjustable installation lets designers tune each fixture to individual dining room proportions across a multi-room hospitality specification.

Craft

Patient. Handcrafted. Adjustable.

Every ceramic ginkgo leaf across every Style B configuration is individually hand-shaped from porcelain clay in our atelier. Leaf counts range from 4 (Model B smallest) to 12 (Model A flagship L 59.1") based on Model and size. Each leaf receives multiple hand-brushed applications of matte-white glaze for the fixture's flawless consistent finish. The Rose Gold branch structure is engineered specifically to accept controlled bending during installation — the metal alloy holds its position after being shaped but remains re-adjustable if the installer wants to change the composition later.

The two-steel-wire suspension system is fixture-specific — thin polished-steel wires support the fixture's weight while an electrical cable runs through the centre. The one-way adjuster valves let the installer set exact hanging length precisely — extend by pushing wire through the valve; note that once extended, wires cannot be retracted through the valve (plan slightly longer than you think you need). Alternative Rose Gold frame finishes (Copper Gold, Nickel, Chrome, White, Gold, Black) are made-to-order at no additional charge across all eleven configurations. Production lead times run 4-6 weeks.

Questions

What does "adjustable branches and leaves" actually mean?

The Style B is the only Ginkgo Chandelier in our range with a genuinely adjustable branch-and-leaf system. Three adjustments happen at installation: (1) Branches bend. The Rose Gold metal branches accept controlled bending — tilt upward for airier composition, downward for dimensional presence, laterally for asymmetric organic composition. Branches hold position permanently once set. (2) Leaves turn. Each porcelain leaf attaches with a small screw that lets you rotate the leaf 360° — flat for direct downward light, angled for atmospheric scatter, alternated for dynamic composition. (3) Steel-wire length adjusts. Two thin steel wires support the fixture with one-way adjuster valves; set exact hang height by pushing wire through the valve. The result: no two Style B installations look identical, and each reads as designed for its specific room rather than as generic factory shape.

Model A, Model B, or Model C — which is right for my room?

Model A (standard linear · 4 sizes · H proportional 13.8-17.7") — for standard residential dining rooms and kitchen islands where the fixture should hold balanced dimensional volume. H scales with L across the range. The safest choice for most residential applications. Model B (ultra-narrow flat · 3 sizes · W 11.8") — for kitchen islands with minimal cooking headspace clearance, home bar counters with standard 8-9-ft residential ceilings, and interiors where visual weight should stay compressed. The 11.8" cross-section is deliberately minimal. Model C (uniform H 15.7" · 4 sizes) — for whole-home coordination where multiple Style B fixtures in different rooms (dining, kitchen, bedroom) should read with identical visual proportion regardless of size. The consistent H makes matched-room installations visually coherent. When in doubt: Model A is the standard specification.

Style B vs Style E ultra-slim vs Style F Model D — which narrow linear?

All three offer narrow linear compositions but with different specifications. Style B Model B (W 11.8" · 3 sizes L 39.4-59") — narrow linear with adjustable branches and turnable leaves; each installation is customized. Style E Model E (W 7.9" · 1 size L 47.2") — the narrowest linear composition in the entire Ginkgo Series (almost-ribbon 7.9" cross-section); fixed factory arrangement, no adjustability. Style F Model D (W 11.8" · 3 sizes L 31.5-47.2") — narrow linear with fixed factory arrangement, part of Style F's six-Model complete family. Choose Style B Model B when you want adjustable narrow linear; Style E Model E when you want the absolute narrowest cross-section available; Style F Model D when you want narrow linear coordinated with other Style F Model forms across a whole-home installation.

Do I have enough ceiling clearance?

Minimum ceiling requirements depend on Model. Model B (ultra-narrow · W 11.8" · flat panel): 8-ft residential ceilings work comfortably — the narrow cross-section keeps the fixture compressed near the ceiling. Model A smaller sizes (L 31.5" × H 13.8"): 8-9-ft ceilings. Model A mid-larger (L 39.4-47.2" × H 15.7"): 9-ft ceilings recommended. Model A flagship (L 59.1" × H 17.7"): 9-10 ft ceilings for the dimensional H to read as intended. Model C (H 15.7" uniform): 9-ft ceilings for all sizes. Add wire length (59" standard, adjustable) to fixture height when calculating total drop. For dining tables, add 30-36 inches from tabletop to the fixture's lowest point. Extended wire lengths available at no extra charge.

How does the steel-wire suspension work?

Unlike chain-based chandelier suspensions, the Style B uses two thin polished-steel wires that support the fixture's weight while an electrical cable runs through the middle. Standard wire length is 59" (150 cm). At installation, wire length is easily adjusted via one-way valve adjusters at the ceiling canopy — extend wires to the exact hang height your room needs by pushing wire through the valve. Critical installation note: the valve adjusters are one-way — once wire is extended through the valve, it cannot be retracted. Plan slightly longer than you think you need before pushing wires through the valves, so you have some room to make the fixture hang higher if the initial position is too low. Extended wire lengths (up to 120") are available at no extra charge on request.

Can I change the frame colour from Rose Gold?

Yes, at no extra charge across all Models. The default is Rose Gold — a warm pink-gold register that pairs particularly well with matte-white porcelain and reads more contemporary than traditional yellow-gold finishes. Alternative finishes: Copper Gold (warmer classical register), Nickel (cool neutral), Chrome (silver-modern), White (monochrome), Gold (traditional yellow), Black (architectural contemporary). Specify at checkout by leaving a note, or write to support@stuberlighting.com within 24 hours of order placement. Note that the adjustable branch structure is the same across all finish choices — branches bend and leaves turn regardless of which frame finish you specify.

Can I dim it?

Yes — strongly recommended across all Models and configurations. The included G9 LEDs are non-dimmable warm-white. Replace with dimmable G9 LEDs (widely available at any lighting retailer) and install a triac-compatible wall dimmer. Dimming is particularly effective on the Style B because you can install with leaves at atmospheric angles (30-45° from horizontal) that catch light softly at low-brightness settings — the fixture reveals its most sculptural composition at 40-60% brightness. For dining rooms, dimmable control is essentially required to enable evening-service and event-mode lighting scenes. One customer review notes: "I bought dimmable bulbs and will be installing a dimmer switch."

How difficult is installation, honestly?

Substantial — the Style B is not a fast-install fixture. The adjustable design that makes each installation unique also means you're not just hanging a factory chandelier; you're composing branches and leaves during assembly. Model B smaller (L 39.4"): 3 hours, 2-person installation recommended. Model C compact (L 23.6"): 3-4 hours. Model A/C mid-larger: 4-5 hours. Model A flagship (L 59.1"): 5-6 hours, 2-person licensed installation team strongly recommended. Watch the product installation video before starting — customer reviews strongly recommend this. Key tips from customer reviews: attach the frame and bulbs first, then attach leaves individually one at a time; plan wire length slightly longer than you think you need (one-way valves); take breaks — the manual leaf attachment can be tedious over multiple hours. The finished fixture is worth the effort — reviewers consistently note the customization creates a genuinely unique installation.

Trade programs and hospitality projects?

Yes — the Style B is a specified fixture line for boutique-hospitality residential-scale installations and modern residential design projects where the adjustable branch-and-leaf system lets designers tune each fixture individually to specific room proportions. Model C's uniform-height family is particularly specified for whole-home coordination across dining + kitchen + bedroom zones. Trade programs available; matched-batch porcelain coordination for multi-fixture installations; custom frame finishes; extended wire lengths at no extra charge. Production lead times run 4-6 weeks; multi-fixture orders may extend proportionally depending on ceramic kiln capacity. For hospitality installations, we can coordinate installation-technician training on the adjustable system to ensure consistent finished results across multiple fixtures. Write to support@stuberlighting.com with your project brief — quantity, Model mix, finish specification, and installation timeline.

"The Style B is the Ginkgo Series' answer to fixtures that ship as fixed factory shapes — this one arrives as a collection of components that only becomes a chandelier during installation, and the way it becomes one is up to you. Bend the branches. Turn the leaves. Adjust the steel-wire length. Three Models across eleven configurations covering standard linear, ultra-narrow flat, and uniform-height family. The fifteenth in an ongoing Ginkgo Series, and the only one designed to genuinely respond to your interior."
