The hanging member of the Gemma candied-glass family — the same hand-blown, glow-from-within glass, now on a cord instead of a base. Eight stacked silhouettes in red, green, smoked and cream, from a single kitchen pendant to a colourful cluster down a stairwell.

ang one over a kitchen island and it does what a plain pendant can't: instead of a bulb behind a shade, a vertical LED lights the stacked hand-blown glass from the inside, so the red, green or smoked forms glow like their candy namesake. It's decorative lit or unlit — a small hanging sculpture that happens to give light.
Eight silhouettes cover everything from a compact 19.7-inch single over a nightstand to a dramatic 29.9-inch column down a stairwell. Because each is hand-blown, no two are identical — and because they come in a shared family of colours, you can cluster several at different heights and have them read as a set.

Two diameters: Models A, B and F are the slimmer 6.3-inch width; C, D, E, G and H are 7.1 inches. Mix heights and colours within the family to build a cluster that still reads as one set.

The glass — hand-blown, coloured.
Each shade is hand-blown, with a uniform wall thickness that lets the colour glow evenly. Because it's blown by hand, no two are identical — small variations are the mark of the craft. The palette runs red, green, smoked and cream, stacked into globes, discs and ovals.

The frame — metal.
A metal structure carries the stack and the ceiling canopy. Wipe the glass with a soft dry or barely damp cloth; skip abrasive cleaners, which dull the finish. Dust it occasionally and it keeps its clarity for years.

The light — vertical integrated LED.
A vertical LED runs up through the glass so the forms glow from within — no visible bulb, rated for around 50,000 hours, nothing to replace. Choose fixed warm light on a wall switch, or the remote-dimming version for adjustable brightness and colour temperature.
Where It Hangs
Singly, or clustered.
01 Over a kitchen island.
A row of two or three — matched or mixed colours — is the classic use, and owners specifically choose these to make a new island stand out. The coloured glow reads warm and characterful over a work surface.
02 Down a stairwell.
Cluster several at staggered heights beside a staircase for a vivid, gallery-like drop — a favourite install, and where the tall Models F, G and H earn their length.
03 Over a dining table.
A single pendant centred over a round table, or a pair over a longer one, brings colour and a warm glow that a plain drum can't — and the glass comes alive over a candlelit dinner.
04 Beside a bed.
A single compact model as a hanging bedside light frees the nightstand and adds a soft coloured glow — hang one on each side for symmetry.
05 Boutique hospitality.
Cafe and bar counters, restaurant tables and photogenic short-term rentals — a colourful hand-blown cluster gives a space a memorable, camera-ready signature.

Installation
A hardwired hanging fixture.
Integrated LED — No Bulb Needed
The light source is built in.
A vertical LED is integrated into the fixture — nothing to buy, screw in, or replace. Runs on AC 110–240V; it works on standard US household current. If ordering from the US, confirm the 120V configuration when you order.
Wiring
Hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box; professional installation is recommended. Shut off the breaker — not just the switch — before wiring. Mounting hardware and instructions are included in the box.
Cord & Height
Hangs on a 59-inch cord that shortens at installation to set your height — useful for staggering a cluster. Need a longer drop for a stairwell or high ceiling? Tell us before you order; extensions are available.
Control & a Renter-Friendly Option
The fixed warm-light version runs off a standard wall switch (not included); the remote-dimming version adjusts brightness and colour temperature. Renting or without a ceiling junction box? Ask us about a plug-in cord conversion so you can simply plug it into an outlet.

Quick check before you order: over an island or table, hang the bottom of the shade roughly 30–36 inches above the surface. For a cluster, order a mix of heights and stagger the cords so the fixtures step down rather than line up. In a stairwell, keep the lowest fixture well clear of head height on the stairs.

What are the eight models, and can I mix them?+
They're eight stacked-glass silhouettes. A–E are the shorter styles (19.7–22") for islands, tables and bedsides; F, G and H are the tall 29.9" columns for stairwells and high ceilings. Colours run across the family — red, green, smoked, cream and (Model F) black — so you can absolutely mix models, heights and colours in one cluster and they'll still read as a set.
Does it use a bulb, and can I dim it?+
The LED is integrated — a vertical strip inside the glass, rated for about 50,000 hours, with no separate bulb to buy or replace. The Warm Light version is a fixed warm white on a standard wall switch; the Remote Dimming version adjusts brightness and switches between warm, neutral and cool white by remote. Choose the version at checkout.
How is it installed — and can renters use it?+
It's a hardwired pendant that mounts to a standard ceiling junction box; professional installation is recommended, and the cord shortens to set your height. Mounting hardware and instructions are included — and if you're ordering to the US, confirm the 120V configuration so you get the right controller. Renting or no junction box? Ask us about a plug-in cord conversion so you can plug it into a wall outlet instead.
Is the glass really hand-blown? Will pieces match?+
Yes — the shades are hand-blown, so each is slightly unique; small variations are the signature of the craft rather than defects. Buying several for a cluster and want them coordinated? Tell us at order time and we'll pull them from a matched batch at no extra cost.
Do you work with trade and hospitality projects?+
Yes. The Gemma pendant specifies well for cafe and bar counters, restaurant tables, and photogenic short-term rentals — a colourful hand-blown cluster is a memorable, camera-ready signature. We offer trade pricing on orders of 20 units and above, matched-batch coordination across colours, and project scheduling. Standard lead time runs 4–6 weeks; larger coordinated orders 8–12 weeks.
