Stacked Glass Floor Lamp
Hand-blown art glass, stacked into a glowing column that reads as sculpture by day and a warm light by night. Two shapes, two heights, four candy colors — the piece a room gets arranged around.

H
and-blown glass has a quality no molded piece can fake — slight irregularities in the wall, the way colour pools thicker at the base of each form, the depth of light passing through something a person actually shaped by breath and heat. The Gemma stacks those forms into a vertical column, so the whole lamp reads as a run of translucent glass beads threaded on light.
Lit, the glass glows from within and the colour saturates; unlit, it's a sculptural object that holds the corner of a room whether or not it's switched on. It comes in two silhouettes — Model A and Model B stack their glass differently — at two heights, and in four colours that run from quiet to loud. This is a floor lamp bought as much for how it looks off as for the light it throws.
Two Silhouettes
Same craft, two ways to stack it.
Model A
In Red or Green.
One profile of stacked hand-blown glass, offered in a warm red and a deep green. Red reads bold and saturated against neutral walls; green reads jewel-like and grounded, at home with wood and plants.
Red
Green
Model B
In Black or Orange.
A second profile with its own stacking rhythm, offered in a graphic black and a vivid orange. Black reads architectural and modern; orange is the extrovert of the range, a true pop of colour.
Black
Orange
Two heights, either model: the 51.2-inch version suits a spot beside a sofa or chair; the 63-inch version reads taller and more sculptural, and holds its own in a room with higher ceilings or an empty corner that needs filling.
Materials
Blown by hand, lit from within.
01
The glass — hand-blown, stacked.
Each glass component is hand-blown, which is why no two lamps are exactly alike — slight variation in the wall of the glass and the pooling of colour is the signature of the process, not a flaw. Stacked into a column, the forms read as a run of translucent beads that glow evenly once the light is on.
02
The frame — metal, with acrylic.
A metal structure carries the stack and weights the base so a tall, narrow lamp stands securely. Acrylic elements complete the assembly. Wipe the glass with a soft dry or barely damp cloth; skip abrasive cleaners, which dull both glass and acrylic.
03
The light — integrated LED.
An energy-efficient LED is built in, rated for roughly 50,000 hours — no bulb to buy or replace. Choose the fixed warm-light version with a foot switch, or the remote-dimming version for adjustable brightness and colour temperature.
Where It Lives
Five corners that want a sculpture.
01 Beside the sofa.
The 51-inch version stands at the end of a sofa as a warm reading light that's also a piece of art. The glow through coloured glass is softer and more atmospheric than a plain shade.
02 Filling an empty corner.
The 63-inch version is made for the awkward empty corner that a plain lamp can't dignify. Tall, colourful and sculptural, it turns dead space into a focal point.
03 Beside a reading chair.
Next to an armchair in a reading nook, with the remote-dimming version you can drop the brightness for evening and warm the colour temperature to suit the hour.
04 An entry or a home office.
A vivid orange or graphic black column makes a statement by a front door or in the corner of a home office — personality in a spot that's usually purely functional.
05 Boutique hospitality.
Hotel lobbies, lounge corners, restaurants and photogenic short-term rentals — a hand-blown glass column gives a space an artful, memorable signature that reads as commissioned rather than catalogue.

Setup & Control
Plug in and glow.
Integrated LED — No Bulb Needed
The light source is built in.
An energy-efficient LED is integrated into the fixture, rated for around 50,000 hours — nothing to buy, screw in, or replace. Runs on AC 110–240V, so it works on standard US household current straight out of the box.
Warm Light version
A fixed warm-white output operated by a simple foot switch on the cord. Step on, step off — the straightforward choice if you just want a warm, consistent glow.
Remote Dimming version
Adjust brightness and switch between warm, neutral and cool white by remote — warm for evenings, cooler for reading or work. Choose this version at checkout if you want the control.
Cord & Plug
A fixed 78.7-inch (2 m) cord reaches most outlets from a corner or sofa-side placement. Choose your plug type at checkout — US, UK, AU or EU.

The Scale
Tall and narrow — pick your height.
Both heights share a slim 11.8-inch footprint, so the lamp reads as vertical sculpture without taking floor space. Choose by ceiling height and by the role you want it to play.

51.2in
Compact · 130 cm
Sofa-side height. Sits comfortably next to seating and under a standard 8-foot ceiling as a reading and accent light.
63in
Tall · 160 cm
Statement height. Reads more sculptural and fills an empty corner or a room with a higher ceiling.
Quick check before you order: leave a clear 12-inch square of floor for the base, and roughly 6 feet of cord reach to an outlet. For the 63-inch version, an 8-foot ceiling still works comfortably — go taller mainly for the sculptural presence, not because you need the height.
Questions
Answered plainly.
What's the difference between Model A and Model B?+
They're two different stacked-glass silhouettes. Model A comes in red or green; Model B comes in black or orange. Both are offered at 51.2" and 63" heights and share the same 11.8-inch diameter. Choose by which profile and colour suits your room.
Does it use a bulb, and can I dim it?+
The LED is integrated — there's no separate bulb to buy or replace, and it's rated for about 50,000 hours. Two versions: the Warm Light version is a fixed warm white operated by a foot switch; the Remote Dimming version lets you adjust brightness and switch between warm, neutral and cool white by remote. Choose the version you want at checkout.
Is the glass really hand-blown? Will two lamps match?+
Yes, the glass components are hand-blown, so each lamp is slightly unique — small variations in the wall of the glass and how the colour pools are the signature of the process, not defects. If you're buying two and want them as close as possible, tell us at the time of order and we'll pull them from a matched batch at no extra cost.
Which height should I choose?+
The 51.2-inch version is sofa- and chair-side height — a reading and accent light beside seating. The 63-inch version reads taller and more sculptural, ideal for filling an empty corner or anchoring a room with a higher ceiling. Both work under a standard 8-foot ceiling, so choose by the role and presence you want rather than by headroom.
How do I set it up and clean it?+
Minimal assembly — it arrives largely ready, with mounting hardware and instructions included. Plug it into any standard outlet (AC 110–240V, choose your plug type at checkout). To clean the glass, use a soft dry or barely damp cloth and skip abrasive or solvent cleaners, which dull both the glass and the acrylic. Keep it in a dry indoor location; it's rated IP20.
Do you work with trade and hospitality projects?+
Yes. The Gemma specifies well for hotel lobbies and lounges, restaurant corners, and photogenic short-term rentals — a hand-blown glass column reads as an art commission rather than a catalogue buy. We offer trade pricing on orders of 20 units and above, matched-batch coordination across colours, and project scheduling. Standard lead time runs 4–6 weeks; larger coordinated orders 8–12 weeks. Send your project brief to support@stuberlighting.com.
From The Atelier
“We wanted a floor lamp you'd keep even if it never switched on — a stack of hand-blown glass that holds a corner like a sculpture. The light is almost a bonus. Colour is the point.”
