Honestly, Good to Know
Bulb & brightness. It takes a G9 bulb (max 40W per socket), not included — so you can choose your own. We'd suggest a quality G9 LED for a long life and warm glow. For dimming, use a dimmable bulb with a compatible plug-in dimmer.
Glass & wood care. Wipe the glass shade and wood base with a soft, dry cloth. Real wood varies slightly piece to piece. It gives a soft ambient glow — lovely for atmosphere and light reading. Indoor dry locations only (IP20, not waterproof).

Which bulb does it take?+
A G9 bulb, max 40W per socket (not included). We'd suggest a quality G9 LED in a warm white for a cozy glow and a long life. For dimming, use a dimmable bulb with a compatible plug-in dimmer.
Is the shade glass or fabric?+
It's real curved art glass, not fabric — it gives a clear, warm, softly diffused glow with real depth. Many people choose it precisely because it isn't another plain fabric shade.
How do I turn it on?+
With a classic metal pull-chain switch on the cord — a simple, tactile on/off. Choose your plug type (US/UK/AU/EU) at checkout; the cord is 59".
Is it bright enough to read by?+
It gives a soft, warm glow through the glass — great for atmosphere, a desk, or light bedside reading. For extended close reading, a brighter warm-white G9 bulb helps, or pair it with a dedicated task light.
Is it stable / how heavy is it?+
