The Form Series Pendant transforms your home into a sanctuary of soft light and timeless artistry. Imagine a space where the ceiling doesn't just hold a light, but a floating sculpture that breathes warmth into every corner. The Form Series combines the ancient soul of ivory mulberry paper with the sophisticated contrast of matte black oak rings — mimicking the gentle diffused glow of sunlight through a shoji screen, casting Wabi-Sabi aura that turns dining and living areas into curated sanctuaries.
Available in four distinct silhouettes — Tall Sculptor, Classic Orb, Grand Statement, and Tiered Zen — each model offers a different sculptural proportion while sharing the signature Washi paper × black oak combination. This is the first pendant in our family to introduce solid wood detailing, bridging traditional Japanese paper craft with contemporary Nordic wood aesthetics.

Which Form Series Model should I choose? +
Choose by space and proportions. Tall Sculptor (Model A) — moderate-height rooms, single-light vertical statement. Classic Orb (Model B) — balanced near-spherical form, fits most living rooms and bedrooms. Grand Statement (Model C) — vaulted ceilings, double-height spaces, large dining areas. Tiered Zen (Model D) — above dining tables/kitchen islands where the wide low silhouette spreads warm light across horizontal surfaces. The lamp's bottom should always be at least 30-36" above table tops, or 7.5 feet above open floor space.
Can the Form Series install on vaulted or sloped ceilings? +
Yes — the Form Series ships with all necessary accessories for vaulted and sloped ceiling installation. The hardware kit includes adjustable canopy fittings that allow the lamp to hang vertically regardless of ceiling angle. For very steep slopes (greater than 45°), contact us before ordering to confirm compatibility. We recommend a licensed electrician for installation, especially in vaulted ceilings.
How do I care for the Washi paper and black oak materials? +
Dust the Washi paper sections with a soft feather duster or microfiber wand — use an extended-reach duster for ceiling positions. Do not wet-clean the paper sections. The black oak rings can be wiped clean with a slightly damp microfiber cloth (then dried immediately); do not soak or use harsh cleaners on the wood. Avoid touching the paper directly to prevent fingerprint oils. With basic monthly dusting, both materials maintain their appearance for many years.
For the warmest paper-glow effect, use 2700K-3000K LED or filament bulbs with high color rendering (CRI/Ra > 90). Cooler bulbs flatten the paper's natural amber undertone.
Each piece is handmade by artisans — slight variations in paper texture, pleat alignment, oak grain, and exact dimensions are part of the authentic hand-craft character.
