Sleek chrome-polished metal body pairs with a glass shade in one of three bold colours — Orange, Red, or White — for statement decorative register on coffee tables, side tables, entryway consoles, and desks. A lamp that also melts a candle.
Traditional candle warmers use direct-flame candles, warming plates, or standalone bulb-heated devices. The Cera merges the categories into a single considered object — a proper table lamp with a proper 28W GU10 halogen bulb, engineered so that the bulb's downward-focused heat gently melts a wax candle placed on the warming plate beneath the shade. The result is one small fixture that does three things at once: provides warm ambient downward light, releases the candle's aromatic scent as it melts, and reads as considered decorative object on the tabletop when it's not in use. No open flame, no candle wick to trim, no soot on the ceiling — all the aromatic benefit of a scented candle with none of the flame-safety concerns.
The mechanism is straightforward: the GU10 halogen bulb sits in the fixture's shade housing, focused downward toward the candle plate below. As the bulb operates, its filament produces both light (approximately 300 lumens at 28W) and heat (roughly 60-65°C at the candle plate surface after 10-15 minutes of operation). That heat is well-calibrated to slowly liquefy soy, coconut, and paraffin candle wax over 15-30 minutes of use, releasing aromatic compounds without burning them. Turn off the lamp and the wax re-solidifies as it cools; turn the lamp back on and the melting cycle resumes. A single candle typically provides 40-80 hours of aromatic use across many sessions.
The design language pairs sleek chrome-polished metal (reads as considered mid-century modern hardware register) with a bold-coloured glass shade (reads as considered decorative statement). Chrome catches ambient light across its polished surface, giving the fixture visual presence even when the bulb is off; the glass shade colour becomes the fixture's primary identity — Orange for warm expressive statement, Red for bold declarative accent, or White for clean timeless neutral. Compact at ⌀ 8.7" × H 11.0" — sized to sit on a coffee table beside a book without dominating the surface composition around it.

Mode 01 ★
Candle warming.
Place a small soy, coconut, or paraffin wax candle (up to 3.5" diameter) on the warming plate beneath the shade. Turn on the lamp — the GU10 halogen bulb (included, pre-fitted) provides both warm downward ambient light and 60-65°C of downward heat that slowly liquefies the wax over 15-30 minutes, releasing aromatic scent into the room. No open flame. When you turn the lamp off, the wax cools and re-solidifies for the next use. Candles sold separately at any home-fragrance retailer.

Mode 02
Straight ambient.
Skip the candle and use the Cera as a compact decorative ambient table lamp — the chrome body and coloured glass shade read as considered small-fixture statement regardless of whether the wax-warming function is active. For lower heat output (recommended if you want the lamp on for extended hours without candle-melting duty), swap the included GU10 halogen for a GU10 warm-white LED bulb (widely available, sold separately) — the LED delivers similar downward light with significantly less heat.

The Cera is engineered around candle warming as its primary use case — the shade geometry, plate spacing, and bulb positioning are all calibrated for that function. Straight ambient use with an LED works but reads as secondary mode; if you never plan to melt a candle, our Onda Table Lamp (larger, warmer, non-heat-producing) may serve your specification better.

Safety first
Halogen produces heat. Four essential guidelines.
Ventilate the room.
Aromatic-candle vapours release into the room as the wax melts — always operate in a well-ventilated space. Never use in enclosed spaces without air circulation. If anyone in the room has fragrance sensitivity, asthma, or allergy triggers, discontinue use.
Never leave unattended.
Turn the lamp off when leaving the room for extended periods (30+ minutes) or when going to sleep. The halogen bulb runs hot — while there is no open flame, unattended heat sources near flammable materials (books, curtains, papers) present risk. Not recommended for bedside use overnight.
Keep away from children & pets.
The chrome body and glass shade reach warm temperatures during operation (approximately 40-50°C at shade surface after extended use). Position the fixture out of reach of children and household pets. Do not touch the bulb, shade, or wax plate during operation or for 30 minutes after switching off.
Use appropriate wax.
Use small soy, coconut, or paraffin candles up to 3.5" diameter, designed for candle-warmer use (widely marketed as "wax melts" or "candle warmer refills"). Avoid oversized pillar candles, containers that block heat circulation, or non-wax substances. Never operate the lamp with a wick-lit candle beneath — this defeats the flameless purpose.

Orange for warm expressive statement in interiors with terracotta, oxblood, or warm-wood palettes. Casts amber glow. Red for bold declarative accent in modern interiors with restrained neutral palettes where the red is the room's single decorative moment. Casts crimson glow. White for clean timeless neutral in minimalist, Scandinavian, or all-white interiors where the chrome body reads as primary mark. Casts warm neutral glow. All three colours are the same fixture — only the glass shade colour differs.

Halogen bulb included — candle sold separately.
Every Cera ships with a GU10 halogen bulb (28W, warm 2700K) pre-fitted and ready to use — the halogen is required for candle-warming function (LED bulbs don't produce enough heat to melt wax). Candles sold separately at any home-fragrance retailer (Yankee Candle, Bath & Body Works, Target, IKEA, boutique fragrance shops). Look for "wax melts" or "candle warmer candles" up to 3.5" diameter. If you never plan to melt candles and want lower heat / longer bulb life, swap the included halogen for a GU10 warm-white LED (widely available separately).

Every Cera is assembled from three primary components. The chrome body is precision-formed metal with polished chrome finish — the polished surface catches ambient light across its curved profile, giving the fixture visual presence even when the bulb is off. Chrome is chosen over powder-coat or brass for two reasons: the reflective surface visually amplifies the coloured glass shade above (Orange reads more vibrant, Red reads richer, White reads brighter), and the metal handles the sustained heat of halogen-bulb operation without discolouring or degrading over time. The coloured glass shade is precision-cut sculptural glass in one of three colours (Orange, Red, or White) — glass is chosen for heat resistance (fabric would scorch under halogen operation) and for the way saturated glass colour reads when illuminated (creates a stained-glass warm-tone effect that fabric cannot replicate). The wax-warming plate beneath the shade is designed to receive candles up to 3.5" diameter, calibrated for balanced heat distribution across the plate surface for even wax melting.
Power delivery is via a 59" (150 cm) cord with in-line push-button switch — press once to turn on, press again to turn off. Compatible with AC 110-240V household current via your selected plug type. The included GU10 halogen bulb is rated 28W with approximately 2000-hour lifespan under typical candle-warming use (30-60 minute sessions, multiple times per week). Replacement GU10 halogen and GU10 LED bulbs are widely available at any hardware store, IKEA, Home Depot, Amazon, and lighting retailers.

About the included bulb — and can I upgrade? ⚗
Halogen bulb included. Every Cera ships with a GU10 halogen bulb (28W, warm 2700K, non-dimmable) pre-fitted in the socket — halogen is required for the candle-warming function because LED bulbs do not produce enough heat to melt wax. Plug in, press the inline switch, and the lamp works with candle-warming capability out of the box. If you want to upgrade: for lower heat output (recommended if you plan extended-hour ambient use without candle-melting duty), swap the included halogen for a GU10 warm-white LED bulb (2700K, non-dimmable or dimmable) — widely available at Home Depot, IKEA, Amazon, and any lighting retailer. The LED delivers similar downward light with significantly less heat but disables the candle-warming function. Do not use dimmable halogen with in-line dimmer (dimming reduces heat below wax-melting threshold).
Which candles work best? ⚗
Best candles: small soy, coconut, or paraffin wax candles up to 3.5" diameter, designed for candle-warmer use. Look for "wax melts", "candle warmer refills", or "flameless candles" at Yankee Candle, Bath & Body Works, Target, IKEA, Amazon, or boutique fragrance shops. Best scents by application: lavender, chamomile, or cedar for bedroom/relaxation; citrus, mint, or eucalyptus for home office/focus; vanilla, cinnamon, or amber for cozy living-room evenings; sandalwood, rose, or jasmine for statement hospitality; unscented soy for pure aesthetic candle-warming without fragrance. Avoid: pillar candles larger than 3.5" diameter (block heat circulation), tea lights inside metal cases (heat cannot reach wax), candles with wicks intended for burning (defeats the flameless purpose), or non-wax substances.
Cera or Onda — which table lamp is right for me? ⚗
Both are compact plug-in table lamps but at completely different registers. Cera (this fixture) — modern chrome candle-warmer, ⌀ 8.7" × H 11.0", GU10 halogen bulb (included), bold Orange/Red/White glass shade, primary function is candle-warming with aromatic diffusion. Correct for coffee tables, entryway consoles, home offices, and aromatic-ritual corners. Runs hot — not for unattended overnight or bedside use. Onda — 1980s postmodern squiggle-base, ⌀ 14.1" × H 18.5", E14 warm-white LED bulb (included), single Black-and-White-Linen finish, primary function is decorative warm ambient. How hot does the fixture get during operation? ⚗
Halogen bulbs produce heat as an inherent feature — this is what enables the candle-warming function. Temperatures after 15-30 minutes of continuous operation: wax plate: 60-65°C (140-149°F) — calibrated to melt candle wax without burning it. Glass shade surface: 40-50°C (104-122°F) — warm to touch but not immediately burn-hazardous. Chrome body: 30-40°C (86-104°F) — noticeably warm. Do not touch the bulb, shade, or wax plate directly during operation or for 30 minutes after switching off. Position the fixture on heat-resistant surfaces (stone, ceramic, glass, hardwood tabletops) and away from heat-sensitive materials (fabric decor, paper books, plastic items). Do not operate near curtains, upholstery, or under overhead cabinets.
Can I dim the lamp? ⚗
Not recommended for candle-warming mode. The candle-warming function depends on the halogen bulb's full-power heat output — dimming reduces both light and heat below the threshold needed to melt wax reliably. If you want dimmable ambient light without candle-warming: swap the included halogen bulb for a dimmable GU10 warm-white LED bulb (widely available) and use with a triac-compatible wall dimmer (Lutron Diva and Caseta known LED-compatible). This gives you dimmable ambient function but disables the candle-warming capability. The included halogen operates on/off only via the inline switch.
How do I clean the fixture and wax plate? ⚗
Chrome body: wipe with soft dry microfibre cloth for regular dust; for stubborn marks, slightly damp microfibre with mild dish soap solution then dry immediately. Chrome polish (available at any hardware store) can restore shine for older units. Avoid abrasive cleaners, ammonia-based products. Coloured glass shade: wipe with dry or slightly damp microfibre. Never use ammonia-based glass cleaners on coloured glass (may fade). Wax plate: after candle is finished or before switching between fragrance types, let plate cool to room temperature (30+ minutes after switching off), then gently scrape off solidified wax residue with a soft plastic scraper — avoid metal implements that could scratch the plate. For sticky residue, warm the plate gently (turn lamp on briefly, then off, then wipe immediately with dry microfibre). Do not wet-clean the wax plate. Bulb: allow to fully cool before handling; do not touch halogen bulbs with bare hands (skin oils can damage the bulb).
Can I use this in a bathroom, powder room, or covered outdoor space? ⚗
No — indoor dry locations only. The Cera is rated IP20, providing no protection against sustained moisture. Never install in bathrooms (steam damage to bulb and chrome finish), powder rooms with significant shower proximity, covered outdoor patios, or enclosed pool areas. Additionally: never operate in enclosed spaces without ventilation (aromatic candle vapours require air circulation) or near flammable materials. Correct locations: living rooms, home offices, entryway foyers (well-ventilated), kitchens (away from open flame or high-humidity zones), and boutique-hospitality guest reception areas with normal residential humidity levels.
