The Cairo is a metal pendant light with the soul of an old lantern — an openwork iron shade that doesn't just hold light, it shapes it, casting patterned shadows across the ceiling and walls. Vintage and quietly bohemian, it draws on the metalwork traditions of Mediterranean and Moroccan design. Available in four sizes from a compact 15.7 inches to a dramatic 31.4 inches, the Cairo brings warm, atmospheric, pattern-casting light to a bedroom, a dining table, or an entryway.

The Soul of Cairo
At Stuberlighting, we believe the most memorable lighting does something with the light, not just emits it. The Cairo was designed around that idea — an openwork iron shade, drawn from the lantern-making traditions of the Mediterranean and North Africa, that turns a bare bulb into a source of patterned, atmospheric light. The metalwork casts shadows across the ceiling and walls; the effect is warm, vintage, and quietly bohemian. Hanging height: Above a dining table, hang the shade base 30–34" above the tabletop. The 59" cable is adjustable; extension available on request.
