Which Cairn size should I choose?
Small measures Ø9.8" × H11.4" and works especially well on nightstands or compact bedside tables. Large measures Ø12.6" × H14.2" and has more presence on a console, desk or wider sideboard.
Is the base made from solid wood?
Yes. The three stacked forms are made from solid wood. Natural grain, color tone and small markings vary between individual lamps. The listed finish is walnut-tone; the supplied product information does not identify the timber species as walnut.
How do the three lighting modes work?
Use the inline button on the cord. Press to switch the lamp on, then press again to cycle through the three fixed built-in modes. The lamp remembers the last mode used. The supplied information does not define the exact brightness or color-temperature value of each mode.
Is Cairn continuously dimmable?
No. The button cycles through three fixed lighting modes rather than providing continuous dimming. An external wall dimmer is not recommended because the integrated driver is not designed for external dimming.
