The Mechanism

A fabric shade diffuses the light naturally into a calm, warm, inviting glow — softer than a bare bulb or a glass shade, and the reason owners call it cozy and perfect for reading before bed. Dust gently; keep it dry.

The light — bulb included.
Takes a standard E26 bulb (Max 40W) and one is included, so it lights the first evening. A warm-white bulb best suits the fabric shade. For adjustable brightness and colour, add a remote-control dimmable bulb — ideal for a single-bulb fixture this size. Don't exceed Max 40W.

It's a hardwired sconce — it wires to a standard wall junction box, and we recommend a licensed electrician if you're not comfortable with wiring. Owners report it's genuinely easy, often set up in under 20 minutes. Shut off the breaker first. Works on any standard on/off wall switch (not included).
One honest tip on the screws
A quick heads-up owners have shared: the included mounting screws are basic. If your wall needs a firmer hold, swap in a couple of quality wall anchors or screws suited to your wall type — a two-minute upgrade that makes the mount rock-solid.
Bulb & Dimming
A standard E26 bulb is included. Prefer adjustable brightness and colour? Add a remote-control dimmable bulb to your order and we'll match the right one — it ships in place of the standard bulb. Runs on AC 110–240V.

Is it plug-in or hardwired?+
It's hardwired — it wires into a standard wall junction box rather than plugging into an outlet, for a clean built-in look with no visible cord. We recommend a licensed electrician if you're not comfortable with wiring. It works with any standard on/off wall switch.
