Ardsley combines a polished chrome swing arm with a soft fabric shade. Pull the light toward a book when you need it, then fold the arm back toward the wall when the extra reach is no longer needed.

The Mechanism Is the Feature
Two articulated joints allow the arm to extend, retract and change direction. That means the fixture can live on the wall while the light moves toward the place you are actually reading.

Bring Light Closer
Pull the articulated arm toward a bed, chair or reading position without adding a table or floor lamp.
Angle
Reposition as Needed
The joints let the arm change direction instead of locking the light into one permanent wall position.

Return Toward the Wall
When reading is finished, bring the arm back closer to the wall for a more compact profile.

Position 02 Reading Pull toward the bed or chair for focused use.

Compact on the Wall, Softer in the Room
Ardsley keeps the visible fixture compact while the swing mechanism gives it functional reach. Chrome provides the structure; the fabric shade prevents the light from feeling overly industrial.

Plan the Junction Box First Ardsley is hardwired to a standard wall junction box. Beside a bed, place the box where the folded fixture clears the headboard while the articulated arm can still travel comfortably toward the reading position.

Installation Note Shut off power at the breaker before installation. Use screws or anchors appropriate for your wall construction and make sure the backplate is firmly secured before repeatedly moving the swing arm.
Care Wipe the polished chrome with a soft dry microfiber cloth. Dust the fabric shade gently with a soft brush or low-suction upholstery attachment. Keep the fabric dry and avoid abrasive cleaners.
