Honestly, Good to Know
The joints hold by friction. The arm and head stay in place by friction rather than a locking screw, which keeps adjusting quick and simple. Over long-term use they may loosen slightly, and there isn't a manual way to re-tighten them — worth knowing up front, though most positions hold well in normal use.
Even, comfortable light. The light source is diffused to be even rather than harsh or glaring, and the weighted base keeps the slim lamp stable and planted. A plug-in design with an inline switch — no wiring needed.

Questions
How does it adjust?+
Two ways — the swing arm bends and moves the light closer or further, and the head rotates to tilt the beam. Together they let you aim the light precisely for reading or task work.
Do the joints stay put?+
They hold by friction, which makes adjusting quick. Most positions hold well in normal use; over long-term use they can loosen a little, and there isn't a manual screw to re-tighten — we'd rather tell you that up front.
Do I need to buy a bulb?+
No — it uses an integrated LED (rated around 50,000 hours), so there are no bulbs to buy or change. You choose the color temperature — 3000K, 4000K, or 6000K — at checkout; the default is warm 3000K. Each lamp comes in that one fixed tone (it isn't switchable after purchase), and the LED is built-in and not user-replaceable.
Is the light harsh?+
No — the light is diffused to be even rather than glaring, so it's comfortable for reading and desk work. Use the warm setting for a softer feel or the cool setting for a brighter, crisper light.
Do I need to wire it?+
No — it's plug-in with a 59" cord and an inline switch. Choose your plug type (US/EU/AU/UK) at checkout and plug in. Rated IP20, indoor dry use only.
