We strongly recommend 9-foot ceilings or higher for the UF4-31N. At nearly 75 inches tall, in a standard 8-foot ceiling room (96 inches), the lamp leaves only 21 inches of clearance above — visually this feels crowded and reduces the architectural effect the lamp is designed for. The UF4-31N earns its full character in 9-10ft+ ceilings, vaulted spaces, and lofts. For standard ceiling rooms, consider our shorter Akari floor lamps — the 10A (49") or UF3-Q (57").

How does the UF4-31N compare to other tall Akari floor lamps? +
