The Akari 3X is a sculptural table lamp built around a clean cube-inspired square silhouette — textured mulberry Washi paper stretched over a metal frame and bamboo wire ribbing. Where most paper table lamps are round or oval, the 3X is squared and geometric, bridging traditional Japanese craft with modern geometry. The four flat paper faces diffuse harsh light into a soft, cloud-like radiance — the kind of even glow that softens a room rather than spotlighting it.
Available in two sizes — Small (7.5" wide) and Medium (9" wide), both 14.9" tall — sized for bedside nightstands, study desks, side tables, and console tops.
