Height / Washi / Glow
Tall in Presence. Only 13 Inches Wide.
Akari 14A stretches a softly illuminated washi-paper form to 63.7 inches tall while keeping the footprint remarkably narrow. The result is a floor lamp that adds vertical light without the visual weight of a wide shade or tripod base.
Overall Height 63.7" Ø13" wide
Ø33 × H162cm
Ø33 × H162cm
Shade Handmade Washi
Natural white paper softens the bulb and illuminates the full shade.
Structure Bamboo Ribs
Fine internal ribs give the elongated paper form its structure.
Setup Plug-In
78" power cord with inline switch. No hardwiring required.

Paper / Structure
The Paper Is the Light Surface
Instead of hiding the bulb behind an opaque shade, the washi paper becomes a softly illuminated surface. The internal bamboo ribs remain subtly visible, giving the lamp texture without adding ornament.
Surface Washi Paper Translucent natural-white paper for a softer ambient glow.
Skeleton Bamboo Ribs Lightweight internal structure that defines the silhouette.
Support Slim Metal Stand Minimal visual weight beneath the paper form.
Light Effect SOFT GLOW through the full shade
More Ambient Than Directional
The tall paper body diffuses light around the fixture, making the 14A better suited to atmospheric and layered lighting than concentrated task illumination.

Height / Footprint
Vertical Scale Without a Wide Base
At 63.7 inches tall and only 13 inches across, the 14A creates the visual height of a full-size floor lamp while keeping the footprint compact beside furniture or in corners.
Height 63.7"
Diameter 13"
Cord 78"
Sofa Fits narrow side and corner zones.
Bedroom Adds soft vertical light without a wide shade.
Entry / Reading Corner Works as a single sculptural light source.
