Antique brass, glass blossoms, the chandelier your grandmother would have chosen — refined for now.
The Adele is a vintage-inspired chandelier in antique brass finish, with flower-shaped glass shades clustered around a central frame. The brass is treated to read aged rather than polished — the warm patina of real antique fixtures, not the shine of new metal. The glass shades catch the bulb light and glow softly amber, while the brass frame reads as the kind of fixture you'd find in a well-kept Victorian dining room or a Brooklyn townhouse renovation done by someone with taste.
Four configurations: three round versions at 28.3", 34.3", and 39.4" diameter for traditional dining tables, foyers, and grand-scale rooms; one linear version at 31.9" length for rectangular dining tables, kitchen islands, and modern open-plan spaces. Same vintage character; four different room scales and shapes.
Antique brass — aged, not polished
The brass is finished to read aged: warm patina, subtle darkening at the joints, the look of a fixture that's lived in a beautiful room for fifty years. Polished brass reads new; antique brass reads inherited.
Flower-shaped glass shades
Each glass shade is shaped like an opening blossom — petals catching and refracting the bulb light. The clusters read as a stylized bouquet, but the antique-brass framework keeps it from feeling too literally floral.
Four configurations — round or linear
Three round versions (28-39") for traditional table arrangements and circular foyers. One linear version (31.9") for long rectangular tables and kitchen islands. Choose by the shape of the room, not just the size.
Bulbs included — ready out of the box
Ships with E26 warm-white bulbs already included. Install, hardwire, switch on — no separate bulb shopping, no figuring out wattage. The included bulbs match the antique-brass warmth perfectly.
For rooms that want vintage character — without being kitschy
There's a difference between vintage and antique-style. Vintage means it actually has age and history; antique-style means it imitates that age. Most "vintage" lighting on the market falls into the second category — shiny new brass that's been chemically treated to look old, ornate shapes that try to evoke an era without understanding it. The Adele is closer to genuine vintage spirit because the design language is restrained — the antique brass treatment is subtle, the flower shapes are stylized rather than literal, and the proportions are balanced rather than over-decorated. It's the kind of chandelier that would have fit in a 1920s home and fits equally well in a 2025 renovation that respects what came before.
Where the Adele hangs best
Traditional dining room (28.3" or 34.3" round) — antique-brass chandelier above a wood dining table reads timeless and grown-up; the kind of fixture that anchors holiday dinners.
Long rectangular dining table (31.9" linear) — the linear version was made for this — fills the visual length of long tables in a way round chandeliers cannot.
Kitchen island (31.9" linear) — modern kitchen islands often want vintage character to balance the otherwise contemporary surfaces; the linear Adele delivers that contrast.
Grand foyer or double-height entryway (39.4" round) — the largest version reads as the centerpiece of a formal entry; antique brass warms otherwise austere spaces.
Master bedroom or boudoir — vintage-style fixture turns a bedroom from purely functional into intentionally elegant; pairs well with traditional, transitional, and modern-vintage interiors.

Frequently Asked Questions
Round or linear — which one do I need? +
Choose round for round or square dining tables, traditional formal dining rooms, foyers, and any room where the chandelier should anchor the center of a space. Choose linear for long rectangular dining tables (over 60 inches), kitchen islands (which are also typically rectangular), and modern open-plan dining areas. The linear version fills the visual length of rectangular tables; round chandeliers over long tables leave the ends of the table feeling unanchored.
Which round size fits my dining table? +
General rule: chandelier diameter should be roughly half the dining table width. For a 48-54 inch wide table, choose 28.3". For a 60-66 inch wide table, choose 34.3". For 72+ inch wide tables, choose 39.4". For round tables, choose a chandelier about 12 inches smaller than table diameter — a 48-inch round table pairs with the 34.3" chandelier. If your table is rectangular and over 60 inches long, the linear version is usually the better choice regardless of width.
Will the antique brass darken further over time? +
The antique brass finish is designed to remain stable — it's not a "living finish" that darkens significantly over years like raw uncoated brass. The aged appearance you see when the chandelier arrives is the intended final finish; sealing during manufacturing prevents further oxidation. Dust gently with a soft dry cloth; for occasional cleaning, use a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water. Do not use brass polish — it can strip the antique finish and expose raw brass underneath.
For the warmest vintage glow, use the included 2700K bulbs or upgrade to Edison filament bulbs for visible filament aesthetics behind the glass shades.
Hang at standard chandelier height — 30-36 inches above dining table surface; 7+ feet above floor in foyers and traffic areas.
Safety tested for indoor use in dry locations. Meets technical requirements for North American residential lighting installations.
